Very fun creative experience working with hands to make your own style Turkish lamp. You may be able to find a cheaper one, but this is very conveniently located on the European side. Staff was very helpful and friendly!
Amazing Instructors, amazing experience! I enjoyed every minutes of this workshop, and I highly recommend i!
Making mosaic lamps with Zeynep. We had a lot of fun and were welcomed with Turkish hospitality. The lamps look great and are a lovely memory of the week in Istanbul. We can only recommend the workshop highlights in Istanbul ❤️❤️❤️
Cool activity and especiallly the kids were loving it
Awesome, very creative workshop, 2 hours on-site but it can be less or more depending on the need. Going home with your creation is great
I had a very enjoyable afternoon learning how to prepare a proper Turkish Coffee. All thanks to the pleasant Bahar, who also turned out to be a fortuneteller! Can really recommend this event. (It can’t be found on Tripadvisor for some reason, but check it out on their website) Thank you Bahar!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and love the lamps we created. Ali was very helpful and has a great sense of humour. He speaks perfect English and Russian (I’m just taking his word for that 😆). We chose our own designs using suggested pattern templates. There were plenty of tile and bead colours to choose from. My husband’s lamp looked more “Turkish” but I thought mine was prettier. They are a great souvenir from our trip to Türkiye
We had the best time making lamps! Bahar, out helper, was fantastic! We highly recommend this class. It was low stress and so enjoyable.
We were only 5 people, so there was a few moments of uncomfortable silence and only small talk. However, our instructor was a lovely girl that was very patient and guided us wholeheartedly through the activity. It was very simple and fun experience.
They had a great selection of colors for us to pick from and some helpful easy guides and examples to base our designs off of, while also being flexible if we wanted to try other things. They also provided tea and a small snack of Turkish delights. I loved the size of the lamps, I thought they were perfect for people who are traveling where it's smaller but also enough space to get creative with the designs. Super fun activity and right in the heart of Galata neighborhood, so very accessible.
