Great experience with great guide
There’s an infinite amount of things to see in Istanbul, but Aysa was able to pack in all that we wanted to see in a good amount of time. We had a private driver and were able to comfortably see Dolmabahce palace, hippodrome, blue mosque, stopped by Hajia sophia, cistern of theodosus, and grand bazaar to name a few, in about 7hrs. We even tried traditional ottoman foods. Aysa was super knowledgeable and informative about each place and would give a good summary and background along the way, great at answering any questions we had. When shopping she was trying hard to make sure we could find the best value for things we were looking for (nice leather products for example). Lastly but importantly, she was fun to spend time with.
We had a fantastic day touring with Aysa. She is incredibly knowledgeable and customized the experience taking into account exactly what we wanted to see, as well as recommending excellent alternatives based on her local knowledge. She was also so flexible and patient with our group given that we have a 2 year old. The lunch spot she recommended was incredibly delicious! Would highly recommend touring with her. Evrim, was absolutely the most fantastic tour guide I’ve ever had. Her knowledge of the history, religion and culture not only Turkey but other destinations was at a university level. She exceeded our expectations of a tour guide and she truly demonstrated her passion for history and her country. I can not wait to return to Istanbul and connect with Evrim again. She is professional and charming. Exploring Istanbul with her was more like hanging out with a close friend.

Our guide Ayse Yldrm was excellent, she was so knowledgeable. Our tour took place on a holiday and many places of interest were closed, but she made changes quickly to accommodate the closure and we still had the opportunity to see all of the highlights of Istanbul. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of all the cultural sites we visited. Including the Blue Mosque, the Palace and Cistern. She arranged a fabulous lunch of local cuisine at a Michelin star Restaurant. The City was full of visitors but she made the transit system easy to navigate on a difficult day. Would highly recommend the Tour and our remarkable guide Ayse Yldrm..
Please keep in mind this is a walking tour and Istanbul has many more hills than we were aware of. With that being said, we had the best experience because of our guide, Savas. He was an amazing young man that had a great passion for his city and was excited to share it with us. He was very accommodating for any requests we had and very respectful to any additional cost that we incurred. We visited during a religious holiday so lines were very long and he informed us and gave us the option for additional cost to bypass the lines. When we originally booked the tour it was scheduled for 7 hours but we ended up spending over 8 hours with our guide because we stopped for a wonderful lunch at one of his favorite local spots. This was a fantastic place and we got to sit and get to know Savas better with great conversation over a delicious lunch. We highly recommend a tour with Savas! You won’t be disappointed!
