Magnificent limestone facade, adorned with intricate carvings and topped with a majestic dome
At Devil's Bridge in Antigua, you will see a dramatic natural limestone arch carved by the powerful Atlantic waves. This stunning geological formation is located on the eastern coast of the island, in the Indian Town National Park. The bridge offers breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and the crashing waves below. Visitors can explore the surrounding area, which includes blowholes that shoot water into the air during high tide, creating a spectacular display. The site also has historical significance, as it is linked to local folklore and the tragic history of enslaved Africans who, according to legend, leaped from the bridge to escape the hardships of slavery. The natural beauty, combined with its cultural and historical context, makes Devil's Bridge a unique and poignant destination in Antigua.
Betty's Hope, Antigua's first large-scale sugar plantation, was founded in 1650 by Governor Keynell and developed by the Codrington family from 1674. It became a model estate, known for its efficiency and innovative sugar production techniques. On your visit, you'll see restored windmills, the still house, water catchment systems, and the remains of the manager's house. The site includes an interpretation center with artifacts and exhibits detailing the plantation's history.
the Blockhouse in Antigua, you'll experience a fascinating glimpse into the island's military history. Explore the well-preserved ruins of this 18th-century fortification, which once served as a strategic lookout point to defend against potential invaders. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the coastline and surrounding landscape from atop the hill where the Blockhouse stands. Take your time to soak in the atmosphere and imagine the soldiers who once manned this historic outpost. Don't forget your camera to capture the stunning vistas and the rugged beauty of Antigua's coastline from this vantage point.
Take in the panoramic vistas of English Harbour and the surrounding coastline from the historic lookout point, providing a perfect photo opportunity. Immerse yourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Shirley and explore the remnants of the military buildings and cannons that once guarded the island, gaining insights into Antigua's naval history and strategic importance. If visiting in the evening, witness the stunning sunset over the Caribbean Sea, casting a warm glow over the landscape and creating a memorable experience.
Explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site steeped in maritime history. Discover the beautifully restored Georgian buildings housing museums, shops, and restaurants amidst the backdrop of towering masts of sailing vessels, tour the historic naval structures like the Admiral's House and the Copper and Lumber Store, gaining insights into the area's significance during the colonial era. Additionally, you can stroll along picturesque cobblestone streets, soak in panoramic views from Shirley Heights, and even catch a glimpse of majestic yachts in the marina.
Guests will enjoy a one-hour stop at Pigeon Point Beach, where they can relax, unwind, and enjoy beach time. Light snacks will be provided, giving travelers the perfect opportunity to soak up the sun and enjoy the calm, scenic surroundings.

I rate 5 out of 5! She was amazing !
We used Exquisite Taxi and Tours for a private tour of the Antigua. Janel was our guide and was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. You could tell that she was passionate about Antigua and showing off its beauty. From face/hand towels, to cake and exquisite rum punch (Janel’s secret recipe) we felt spoilt and truly taken care of. We saw everything possible in Antigua and it really is the most beautiful island. We would highly recommend Janel and Exquisite tours to anyone and will definitely be using them again in the future when we return. Thanks, Janel, for not just being a guide but becoming a true friend!
Janet was our tour guide when we got off our Virgin Voyages cruise in St. John’s, Antigua. Myself and four friends wanted to explore the island, and from the start, her calm approach made us feel completely comfortable. We felt safe, well cared for, and genuinely welcomed by Janet. In just a 4-hour tour, she showed us so much of the island. Her personality was amazing — it honestly felt like we’d known her for years. One of the fun surprises was when she took us to a Jamaican restaurant… yes, in Antigua lol! If you’re visiting Antigua, I highly recommend trying to get Janet as your guide. She made my Antigua experience the highlight of the five islands we visited during the cruise. I’ll definitely be going back to Antigua soon, and I’ll absolutely be booking Janet again.
We were recommended this company by our cousin who had used them the year before. It was just the 2 of us and we booked a whole day tour. We didn’t really have any fixed ideas about where we wanted to go and so we let Janel suggest the itinerary. It was a good day out and we got to visit all the major sights and stops of interest in Antigua. Janel had bought some black pineapple with her for us to try and also a few beers for us to have on the way! She was lovely, very friendly and with a good sense of humour. She knew all the history and also local information. She was easy to talk to and a safe driver. We would definitely recommend Exquisite ⭐️⭐️
This was a great tour. Very informative and fun. I would highly recommend if you want to do a tour of the island with a great guide and see many sights.

Janel is the best ! Perfectly matched what we wanted. Stingray City, Dickenson Bay, tour in between and Roti King ! Would highly recommend when visiting Antigua.
My entire experience with Janel was amazing. From the first contact with her, she was very knowledgeable about all the excursions and pricing. Her overall price is fair. She organized tours in Antigua and Barbuda for me. Janel is jovial, funny, and honest. She was very helpful in assisting me with finding delicious food on the island. Janel provided me with a once in a lifetime experience to learn the culture and history of Antigua. I would recommend Janel to anyone. She is a great tour guide that has integrity. Book with Janel and you won’t regret the experience she cultivates for you.
Wow! Janelle was phenomenal and we had such a great day on the beautiful island of Antigua. She curated an incredible day trip to beautiful viewpoints, AND to local vendors for fresh fruit/produce, and put in the extra touches to make the day feel fun and comfortable (had towels for the seats after swimming; endless rum punch/juice & cakes) She was also very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny-we laughed the whole trip. By far this was our favorite excursion of the entire trip and we’re so lucky to have met Janelle and had what felt like a very private tour in a comfy air conditioned van. 10/10 on Exquisite Tours with Janelle.
