Misleading listing will not rate

This is our last day stay in Tashkent we booked an Islamic Civilization (museum) Tour with Traditional Meals. The provider is Tourmania. However, we realized after reaching the entrance of the museum there is only a meet & greet person who hand over our entrance tickets & not a tour. The guide is provided by the museum itself with many languages not by Tourmania. The information is misleading. Any tourists can just book online for the time slot & definitely will get a guide as it is included what you paid for the entrance fee. The dinner is just a closed by restaurant & was paid by the agent who greeted us earlier & sitting there with us while we are eating. We would strongly recommend to visit the museum on the arrival at Tashkent but paying so much per person for no service is ridiculous. We can give Five star rating for the Islamic Civilization Center only.

Operator response

Dear Noraini, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent experience with our Islamic Civilization Center tour. We are glad to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed the museum itself, but we are sorry to learn that the structure of the tour did not entirely meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that all information on our product page is completely accurate and designed to provide a seamless, premium experience. Your booking included premium skip-the-line entrance tickets, ensuring that you did not have to waste any of your valuable last day in Tashkent waiting in long ticket queues. As detailed in our description, our service includes a dedicated meet-and-greet coordinator who facilitates your entry and provides an essential, comprehensive introduction to Tashkent and the broader history of Uzbekistan before and after you enter. Per local regulations and to ensure the highest quality of historical accuracy, inside the museum, guiding is exclusively conducted by the certified institutional museum guides, which was provided to you as promised with all headsets. Regarding the dining experience, we carefully select and reserve specific tables at one of the top-rated traditional restaurants within short, comfortable walking distance of the museum—specifically chosen to be convenient for guests after a long day of exploring. This venue is renowned for preparing the finest traditional Uzbek cuisine in the city, including our signature national dish, Plov. We understand from our coordinator that your dissatisfaction primarily stemmed from the fact that traditional Uzbek cuisine is heavily meat-based and non-vegetarian. While our culinary heritage is centered around these traditional dishes, our team did their absolute best to accommodate your preferences by providing a wide variety of fresh local salads, side dishes, and beverages. We always strive to offer excellent value by handling all logistics, premium ticketing, coordination, and top-tier dining reservations so our guests can have a stress-free experience. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us continually improve how we communicate our offerings. Warm regards, The Tourmania Team

A Bridge between traditional design &modem technology.

Museum is a must-see destination for anyone traveling to see the landmarks of the Silk Road, featuring the 7th century Quran, manuscripts, mosaics, and artifacts from all parts of Uzbekistan. The lunch included traditional flatbread, tomato salad and plov, that unfortunately was slightly undercooked.

An exceptional cultural and gastronomic experience

Title: An unforgettable cultural evening in Tashkent The tour of the Center of Islamic Civilization with dinner was truly a special experience. The center is very impressive, with beautiful architecture and great cultural and historical significance. The guide explained everything clearly and interestingly, helping us to better understand Islamic history and the heritage of Uzbekistan. After the visit, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Uzbek dinner in a very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent organization, friendly staff, and an experience I recommend to everyone visiting Tashkent.

Amazing Experience

Amazing experience with Shakhrizod from Tourmania. It was a seamless experience as he was came earlier with the ticket to the Islamic Civilization Center and even accompany me inside. He waited for me at the exit when my tour ended and brought me to a traditional Uzbek restaurant serving scrumptious plov. He even brought me to the Bazaar and dropped me at the metro for my journey back to the hotel. The Islamic Civilisation Centre itself was amazing. One of the best that I have been. Highly recommended!
