Itinerary
Ischia Porto is a small town where the main port is. It is considered by locals the main centre where they go during the evening, eat in a local restaurant and stroll along the main street.
Ischia Ponte is the town of Ischia that preserves one of its landmarks, the Aragonese Castle. It is considered the symbol of the island because it has protected it for so many years from the attacks of enemies and pirates.
The Aragonese Castle is of medieval architecture. It is situated in the middle of the sea and connected to the mainland by a bridge, where you can take a long walk, enjoying your surroundings and relaxing.
The Mount Epomeo is the highest mountain of Ischia, from here you can enjoy an amazing view of the Bay of Naples while hiking in one of the many paths.
Fontana is the town situated in the highest part of Ischia, in fact it is on top of mount Epomeo. From Fontana you can enjoy and exclusive view of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius and Capri, all in one.
This is a particularly looking rock in the sea of Lacco Ameno. It has the shape of a mushroom, and it has been shaped by the waves and the wind.
Sant’Angelo is a unique village, far from the city caos and without the car traffic. This is considered the centre of Ischia where you can come and rejuvenate with its natural thermal baths.

We had a wonderful day in Ischia with our guide Carla and driver Antonio. The instructions given by the tour operator to reach the island from Sorrento were spot-on, and everything went so smoothly. The island is truly magical, and we are already considering staying there next year for our spring vacation. Carla added her magical touch to this tour, and we are grateful for everything. Hope to see you again!

Paolo was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable with the history of the island and where all the great food is served. We went to a local bakery where we tried their freshly baked bread. YUM!!! After a complete tour of this beautiful island we enjoyed a late lunch at one of the local restaurants along with two great bottles of wine.
I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the beauty of Ischia and enjoy the food that Ischia has to offer! The sights were beautiful and we were able to see points of interest that you would not be able to see with a large tour group.. Our tour guide, Paolo, was knowledgeable, friendly and really made the tour a great experience!
