Description

Iquitos is a great opportunity and an excellent option for all those that want to escape for a moment of the concrete forests, infernal noises and pollution of the big cities. It is also special for those that want to have a close encounter with paradisiacal places in the virgin jungle of the Amazonian, without any other noise than the ones made by the birds, monkeys or insects.

Read carefully

The descriptions do not match the experience. We did not get a city tour as our pickup driver was 1/2 hr late. The sloth experience was not good, they are in a cage that is dark and you cannot even take photos. The zip line required an optical course to get through and if you can’t do it, you don’t get to zip line. I cannot walk on a single wire with neuropathy in my feet therefore no zip lining. Food was good though. Pictures of experience are very deceiving.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the zip line activity, guest safety is our highest priority. This activity requires participants to be in suitable physical condition, which is why all guests are asked to sign a consent and safety form beforehand. We are sorry to hear about your neuropathy; however, to ensure the safety of all participants, we must follow established safety requirements and cannot allow participation when there are health conditions that may create additional risk. Concerning the sloth experience, our tours include opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural habitat whenever possible. We also work with rescued animals that are temporarily under professional care and rehabilitation before being returned to the wild. These animals are not kept permanently and are part of ongoing conservation efforts. We are sorry that some aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. However, the tour description clearly explains what is included and what is not included in the package, and we strive to provide accurate information to all guests before their visit. Thank you again for sharing your comments, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve our services.
