The City of Inverness, Capital of the Highlands, has plenty to offer. The choice is yours: Enjoy a walk along the river and take photographs of the cathedral and castle. Explore some of the nice souvenir and whisky shops or venture to the Victorian Market. (stopping time is flexible)
A scenic drive along Loch Ness with plenty of great photo stops
Situated on the southern tip of Loch Ness, Fort Augustus is a great stop for lunch. Enjoy fish & chips, followed by some nice ice cream. Take a walk along the Caledonian Canal down to Loch Ness and watch boats at the locks. A great place especially in the summer month.
A beautiful drive through great Highland Scenery with stops at different Viewpoints
Dores Beach is arguably one of the best viewpoints of Loch Ness. You can see all the way down our famous Loch. Enjoy a walk along the beach, and keep an eye out for our Nessie...!

We traveled around Great Britain with the AIDAsol. One of the planned stops was Portree, but it was changed to Invergordon just 48 hours prior. What a stroke of luck that Thorsten was so flexible with us. In the comfortable 8-seater bus, we then went to Beauly (small farm), Muir of Ord (Singleton Distillery), Nairn, Cawdor Castle, Inverness/Culloden, the Clava Cairns, and finally to Nessie :-) A great, intense day. We highly recommend Thorsten.
