We booked a boat trip to visit Innisfallen island. Jason was a great guide, explaining everything in the route. He did our boat trip very enjoyable. Recommended.
This was a highlight of our trip to Killarney! The open air vintage boat (the Otter) was captained by Michael who brought our small party of 2 (small party because it was raining) to the island which was magical!! Tame deer roam the island while you take in the impressive, ancient ruins of the monastery and associated buildings. Ethereal, private, unique with extraordinary views of the mainland and Ross castle.
