While it’s chilly outside, join us as we weave through the cozy corners of downtown Minneapolis’ skyways on a delicious food adventure. Stroll through the iconic “Broadway” Theater District, see the Minneapolis skyscraper modeled after the Washington Monument and visit the beloved Statue of Mary Richards tossing her hat. Along the way, you’ll stop at four charming, locally owned eateries – businesses that take pride in tradition, including a beloved favorite dating back to 1932. As you sample each delicious bite, you’ll learn the stories and secrets behind the food, the culture, and the neighborhood, discovering what makes downtown Minneapolis so unique. Lindsay is an energetic, knowledgeable tour guide who shared lots of interesting tidbits for locals and not locals alike. Food at all locations on the tour was great and found a few places we'll have to visit the next time we're in Minneapolis. Definitely recommend the tour to find places you might not otherwise and learn more local history.

We had Brian as our tour guide for the day. Super nice and knowledgeable. He was extremely helpful as I was in a wheel chair due to knee surgery on getting around.It was a beautiful day so we (it was a group of 9 for the tour) decided we would go outside and walk. It worked out great as it was all wheel chair accessible. There were 5 stops for food and drink on the tour with stops to talk about the different architecture, people, Mary Tyler Moore statue, etc on the way.We were able to sample: caramel donut bourbon loaf, chicken wing with ghost pepper cornbread, milk and dark chocolate "snickers" bar and Chicago popcorn mix, firecracker shrimp and 2 beer samples and a ham, provolone and pear sandwich. All was very good and a nice variety. We have gone on quite a few food tours as it's a good way to get to know a city and try some different food. Highly recommend! (Christa)

Had a great time learning a bit about Minneapolis and enjoying some good food. Went with two teenagers. One of my sons and a nephew. All of us enjoyed it.

Our guide, Tim, was amazing - full of information about Minneapolis and random information about everything you can think of! He made the tour fun. And, the food stops were great as well. This was a perfect way to become a little more familiar with downtown Minneapolis and to get exposure to some different spots to eat and drink downtown. I would highly recommend.

We did this tour with friends from outside the cities. The food was amazing (we were so full by the end of the tour!), and the tidbits about the downtown area were very interesting. If there was a question that Lindsay didn't know the answer to off the top of her head she looked it up for us. All in all it was a fun way to spend the afternoon. I would recommend the tour both for out of owners and locals looking to find a unique perspective on the area.

Lindsay guided us through the skyway for five great stops. I like that the tour was pretty focused on originality of Minneapolis. She's got a good cache of knowledge and just enough curiosity to pull people in. The food and drinks were a good sampling. Our crew was, perhaps, less concerned with time. So, you may need to figure an additional 1/2hr than planned. Favorite stops, Angel Food bakery and FireLake for the Maple Sriracha Wings and a Sazerac!
