An awesome experience. The itinerary delivered. Diana was a superb guide…provided lots of information. Vehicle and driver were great. A great easy way to see incense and hat process. I highly recommend.
We had a very disappointing experience. My husband has a prosthetic leg, and during transportation in a very small van, he had to remove it due to lack of space. When we arrived, he only needed a few minutes to put it back on, but the guide left without us. We were left alone with no direction, got lost, and felt unsafe. When we raised our concerns, the guide was dismissive and rude, and showed no understanding of his condition. We ultimately decided to leave the tour early and return to our hotel at our own expense.
Very pleasant excursion. Typical hat painting we can take with us and visit an incense factory with incense offered. Thanks to Lily for her professionalism and kindness
Beautiful outing with our guide Diana who introduced us to the history of the incense village and the making of conical hats.
One hour bus ride from Hanoi Old Quarter. You visit two activities: one that produces incense and the other conical hats typical of Vietnam.
It's a short half day tour that gave us an insight on the lives of people outside Hanoi living in small villages making incense and hats. Our guide Anna was super helpful in telling us all the history and how the process in making incense and hats work. We received some beautiful pictures taken in the incense farm. Everyone there was super kind in taking our pictures. After the tour, Anna also gave us several suggestions for restaurants and foods in Hanoi. I tried some of them, they were delicious!
This was a nice relaxing tour. Incense Village was colorful, we enjoyed it. Unique. The process of making the incense sticks was interesting. Conical hats were interesting.
The time management and itinerary is not good. There is no stop with any food options in the half day trip w/o lunch.
This half day tour is very interesting. The process of hat-making and the painting process to make it look attractively colorful is so unique. The incense village was so gorgeous. People adores the wonderful color (mostly red). This one is a must to see especially if you prefer half- day tour. Our guide Lana was fantastic. She is very good from beginning to the end. She explains the whole tour and what to expect and always find time to answer all our questions.
Super nice guide who taught us a lot of interesting facts on a trip that I just thought would be for taking pictures. I was pleasantly surprised:)
