Amazing Inca trail trip with AB expeditions as a solo traveler, definitely recommend!

I had an amazing Inca Trail experience with AB expeditions! Our guides Yiyo and Elias were prompt, informative, kept very balanced pacing with the group, and were so much fun to hike with. The chefs prepared a fresh, delicious feast for us each mealtime with a few surprise treats. The porters were all incredibly kind, hard-working, and supportive people who we all came to deeply admire. Everyone seemed to take great pride in their work and in the cultural significance of the land. The whole trip felt very well planned, organized, and safe with the hiking pace and safety, but did not feel too rigid either and we had ample time to appreciate all the sites. Overall I would highly recommend AB expeditions!

4 day Inca

Because the Inca trail requires a guide we picked a local company that helps their community. AB had excellent communication and planned a very smooth trip. They even did a quick and efficient adjustment for part of our group who got sick a day before our trip. Our guide Miguel did a great job, and was fun and friendly. The cooks Uri and Samuel were phenomenal! Ernon, the head porter, and the rest of the porters (including the cooks) worked so hard for us and always gave us encouragement. They are amazing! Thank you AB for a great trip!

A great challenge requires an excellent team

It was a tiringly rewarding adventure. The starry skies, the mind-blowing landscapes and all that mysticism in every rock on the path made it magical. Gentlemen porters, men with superpowers, always attentive to any need, it seemed they were never tired, always smiling. Yuri and Samuel preparing excellent dishes that looked like works of art, with the best flavors and an impressive variety. To the guide Miguel my infinite gratitude, a very cultured, very professional, very respectful person and always attentive to our needs. To my companions, beautiful people, thank you for your patience.

Oh My God

An absolutely incredible experience. One that I will take with my for the rest of my life. A MUST DO. I have AB Expeditions and their incredible team to thank for this. Ivan and Mindel were the absolute best guides, super informative and helpful at all times, they were also fun and kept spirits high. The amazing cook and sous chef for the incredible food. To this day I will never know how they cooked such amazing food from a backpack. And a huge shout out to the incredible porter team for following on this already difficult hike each carrying all the food supplies, camping equipment and essentials, much respect goes to them. If you can, make sure you do the 4 day hike to Machu Picchu, it is far superior to simply turning up on a bus. They journey is as important as the destination and I would argue that there are things we saw on the way that rivaled the destination. An incredible experience, thank you x

The best

The best experience of my life. Every day got better and the main tour guide Ivan and Mindel were absolutely fantastic. They kept us safe, were very formative and so funny. Ivan has the best laugh. Also a massive shout out to the porters who allowed for this trip to happen.
