At Shanghai Palace Banquet, tourists can see: attendants in ancient costumes greeting with bows, a dressing room with over 300 exquisite Hanfu, professional stylists creating classic Han-style makeup. Before the meal, there are warm copper basins for hand-washing, curling agarwood, candle-warmed tea and osmanthus plum wine in glazed cups. The main hall has a panoramic light show by 160 projectors, with crimson palace gates, carved pillars, gauze curtains, and lights flowing on dishes. During the meal, guzheng players, dancers in gold-embroidered palace costumes performing Jinghong Dance, and Kunqu opera actors with water sleeves are visible; tourists can also see the poetry game Feihualing and photographers guiding poses in ancient courtyards or waterside pavilions.
