When I booked this tour, I was expecting to be on river surrounded by trees and watching wild animals judging be a brief description and the photo. In reality, it turned out to be a cruise on a really wide river like a bay and we were taken from one shore to another. That was a 3 hours ride. I was disappointed… On a positive note: my driver, Ganesh was a wonderful, experienced and entertaining person navigating through the congested traffic. He made me feel welcomed to the country and I am very grateful for that.
Perfect day in Alleppey backwaters! The tour company contacted via WhatsApp the night before to confirm the details of the tour as well as the driver info. After a 2 hour ride from Kochi, we arrived at the houseboat in Alleppey, where we spent most of the day. The lunch, the pakora and evening coffee all were perfect. I will definitely come back
