Hot Air Balloon Rides in Santa Fe

The pilot Clo was the best part of the trip. He was a character with the best stories and such a commanding presence. Made us feel very confident and enjoyed his company.

2 people $630.......Best thing ever!!! The tour guide alone, Mr. Crow.....was worth every penny. Rode for about an hour, my wife and i(Tara and David) had a great 30th annaversary flight with the most interesting people. (a pilot and a teacher and two hot computer genuises). Great people and atmosphere but all a little nuts. All around a very professional team. The Ground Crew was fabulous. I give the landing a 9.8 out of 10. GREAT PEOPLE GREAT CREW and would HIGHLY recommend!!!.........⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Clo and his crew are FANTASTIC! From the (early!) morning pickup at our hotel, to the mimosa celebration at the end of our adventure…everything was wonderful. The ride was everything we hoped for (and more) because of Clo’s warmth, hospitality and unmistakable skill. Thank you again!

I’m afraid of heights but surprisingly the balloon ride was such a pleasant experience and I would definitely do it again…the crew was exceptional.. fun loving .. and professional. What an absolutely amazing experience! The hot air balloon ride was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The views were breathtaking, the ride was peaceful and unforgettable, and the entire experience was handled so professionally from start to finish. A special thank you to our pilot, Johnny, who was outstanding. He made everyone feel comfortable and safe while also making the ride fun, informative, and memorable. His skill, personality, and passion for what he does really made the experience extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better morning and would highly recommend this adventure to anyone visiting the area!

First time balloon ride. The crew made the experience great. The ride was very comfortable, the view was wonderful, and the perspective can only be appreciated from a balloon. Our very experienced captain made everyone at ease, had many great stories to share, and provided a nice surprise after the ride. If you have ever considered it, this was a great experience

We really enjoyed this experience. The company was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The pilot Clo and his crew were super nice, very experienced (Clo has thousands of flight hours!) and very skilled. It was all of our first rides and we felt safe and worry free the entire time. The balloon itself was beautiful. It made for great pictures. (I was surprised to see the other two balloons flying that day were not very pretty - one was monotone with an advertisement on it!) A couple of nice touches I didn’t expect - pictures taken by the crew and a champagne toast after the ride. I would highly recommend Balloon Above New Mexico.

After landing , we sat for about an hour and a half, and then we realized that our pilot was totally oblivious to where he was or how to get us out so my girlfriend and I decided to hike which took us just under four hours to do about 7 1/2 miles and we’re able to coordinate with state police to our location and they met us as we were hiking out out of the mountain. Then I had to guide the fire dept to the landing site to collect the rest of the passenger. During that time it rained and hailed on us. The pilot had no food or water making the hike a huge safety concern.

We loved this experience! The balloon ascent was very easy, the views of the countryside were amazing, and the small balloon basket made for a personalized trip!

Communication with the company was super. Unfortunately at the last minute the winds became a bit too unpredictable and Clo and team were being very careful and systematic so we did not take off. They took the safe route and we were all very appreciative. We got full refund and plan to book another time.
