Horseback “SPECIAL”- Negril’s Beach Ride N’ Swim with Free photos/videos

Wonderful experience. The guide was great, as were the horses. The first time my partner ever road a horse. We had a wonderful day.

I believe is name was Javin or Davin, nickname Chaos. Loved him. He was awesome and provided all kinds of information.

Wouldn’t recommend booking with them at all. They will try to charge you twice even when you paid and go as far as to bring police for their own mess up. I had to have Viator contact them to let them know I had paid even though my ticket and booking confirmation were all there and shown to tour guide before we began. The tour guide was alright, sometimes rude and they don’t take pictures.

My horseback riding experience was really good. The driver was very friendly, and we got to meet two other people who were also taking the excursion with us. Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the farm, and he provided a lot of good conversation throughout the tour. Taking the horse into the water was definitely a weird experience since I had never done that before, but it was very fun. I would absolutely do it again.

Horse riding guide was really impatient with our kids who were inexperienced riders, borderline rude! Not very communicative about the whole planned track. We went to the ocean and then were told to get off the horses at the ocean and told that our driver was waiting for us right there. We expected to ride back in a full circle to where we started from. We also did not go into the ocean at all and the guide’s excuse for it was that the ocean was rough and there was a bit of lightening. So whether or not that was a valid reason, overall it was a subpar experience. The horse breed was also small quarter horses that felt more like donkeys

The horseback ride was a lot of fun, and the guides were friendly and helpful. Riding along the beach was a highlight of my Jamaica vacation. Unfortunately, the pickup process was frustrating. I waited about 45 minutes past the scheduled pickup time with no communication about the delay. Resort staff at Couples Swept Away helped by making calls, and I was initially told I had provided the wrong resort information, even though my confirmation listed the correct resort. The excursion was enjoyable, but the transportation and communication need improvement. Without the help of the resort staff, I might have missed it entirely.

First time being on a horse in water and it was a cool experience. We took a 2 mile ride before reaching the beach. Highly recommended.

Solo traveler that had this booked as a gift from my hubby for my birthday. I was picked up at the resort and driven out to the ranch. Picked up another family on the way. Experience was amazing with at least 4 miles of riding through the mangroves and then along the beach. We were offered to ride into the water if we wanted and they did offer to take pics with your phone if you wanted free of charge. All the horses were extremely well mannered and used to riding this stretch through the groves and out to the beach. We saw wild cattle on the beach, Lillies in small ponds and ducks. What used to be a shade covered mangrove has been completely destroyed by the recent hurricane. A lot of litter on the beach made this extreme sad for me to see. I would highly suggest a hat,packing water as there is none here to drink or even sold to us, it was extremely hot and humid. Lather in bug spray as well as I noticed once getting back to the resort that I had several bites on my legs. They do not hurt or itch so I take it as just something that happens out in the wild. Xavier the tour leader was soooo knowledgeable about the various flora and picked basil for us to smell. This excursion was well worth the money. DO NOT LET THEM CON YOU INTO PAYING FOR THE PICK-UP OR DROP OFF as I learned when we got back in the taxi. What you pay is all inclusive. Would defined recommend to any skilled or non skilled rider as we had a lady with us who was afraid and had never been on a horse. She was trotting on the way back screaming with glee!!!

Incredible! My two boys ages 10 and 12 had a blast, the tour organizer Paul and our guide Rasheed (sorry if I got his name wrong!) were excellent (he has trained and guides the horses and made us feel super safe, having never ridden horses before). What I loved most about this tour was that it was private and off the touristy path - a trail ride through a gorgeous oasis ending on an empty beach. This is the real thing!

This was truly one of the most beautiful experiences we had in Jamaica. The property itself is stunning—over 900 acres of land where the horses are free to roam, which made the entire experience feel natural, peaceful, and well cared for. My husband rode a horse for the very first time, and we both got to ride in the ocean for the first time—something we will never forget. (He was convinced he was a Jamaican cowboy by the end 😂) Our guide, Rashid, was absolutely amazing. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to teach us about Jamaican culture, the land, and the wildlife along the way. He also captured incredible photos and videos for us, which made the experience even more special. And as a bonus, we even saw peacocks on the property—which made my day! If you’re considering a horseback riding experience in Jamaica, I highly recommend Reggae Horseback Riding. It felt authentic, relaxed, and unforgettable.
