This tour is unique for its combination of exceptional experiences: the horseback ride through the countryside will immerse us in authentic country life, during the crossing of the gap into the lagoon we will live a magical moment where we will see the horses swim while sailing in a boat. We will continue the adventure on horseback along the quiet beach of Puerto Suelo, enjoying the sound of the waves and the sea breeze. When you reach the other extreme, you can relax with drinks and snacks in a quiet corner. The mix of rural exploration, water interaction, coastal walk and relaxation in a natural setting makes this experience truly unique and unforgettable.

The tour was one of the highlights for our family during our visit to Oaxaca and Puerto Escondido. They picked us up from the house we were staying at and drove us to meet our horses and riders. Rode the horses for about 30 min in some farmlands before a small river where we took a small boat to the other side while our horses swam across. Then reached a huge empty beach with incredible waves while we rode the horses to a large lagoon. On the way back we stopped at a small cafe where we could order food and drinks before making our way back. Whole trip was about 4 hours, however likely shorter if you are staying closer to Puerto Escondido (our house was about 30 min away from the city). Highly recommend doing it in the early morning when the sun/heat isn't too oppressive. They were great with communication via WhatsApp and were able to change our times without problems.

Horses well trained,, well taken care of. You dont ride tail to nose. Horses go where you want to go. Guide Spanish but very kind. Loved it!!
