You'll trot through charming beaches as your friendly guide leads you through the stunning Playa Maimon. Puerto Plata boasts truly spectacular landscapes, beaches with magnificent views just waiting to be explored. The Beach, where you’ll spend the majority of your ride along the scenic shore. After an hour and a half of thrilling riding, we’ll let the horses catch their breath—what an unforgettable day awaits!

Pickup Locations & Times
We do not have time slots. We leave the port 45 minutes after your ship docks. Please disembark as quickly as possible and be at the pick-up location no more than 45 minutes after your ship docks. We can pick you up in: Amber Cove, Taino Bay, and within the Puerto Plata city, ours service included all hotel of the zone. Amber Cove: the pick up will be outside of the port, after the principal gate, left side of the avenue. About 10 to 12 minutes walk. Taino Bay: the pick up will be at the main entrance, at the right side of the taxi station, outside of the door. About 10 minutes walk. Your tour guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point with a sign that says Edwin Tours at the main extrance and with a navy T-shirt. For more information, please contact us.

Loved my experience Horseback riding with Edwin Tours. Mariano picked me up at the Port and was easily identified he was kind a professional and made sure I felt comfortable as a female solo traveler. He took me to the horse farm and I got to ride "monkey" the large horse who was well trained and so beautiful. Hant was very knowledgeable assisted with telling me about local customs and the region and took amazing photos of me. Loved the entire thing and will be booking again with family when I return . Highly Recommend.
