Experience the Arctic in a different light beneath the night sky. Surrounded by snowy banks, you’ll feel as if you’ve entered a world of magic. Glide through frost-covered forests in a horse-drawn sleigh, wrapped in warm blankets for comfort. Look up and admire the stars overhead. If you’re lucky, the Auroras may appear, lighting up the northern sky with their unforgettable display of colours and movement. At the edge of the forest, a camp fire will be prepared, along with hot drinks and light snacks. Relax by the fire as stories and myths of the North are shared, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere for all our guests.

Pickup Locations & Times
Your pick-up time will be confirmed via email from Apukka Resort (the activity provider) within 48 hours of booking. Please make sure you open and read this email! We offer two pick-up points: Rovaniemi City Center: at address Korkalonkatu 23, pickup time 50 min before activity starting time. Santa Claus Village: The bus stop Napapiiri I by the main road, E75, pickup time 35 min before activity starting time. Please note that if you miss the pick-up, refunds are not available.

So magical riding in a horse driven sleigh over the twinkling snow at night. Very cold but so worth it to see the Northern Lights!
