Horse riding on muscat beach

I was really looking forward to this experience as the photos look absolutely amazing and the activity is advertised as a sunset horseback ride on a beautiful beach. The organization on-site was great and the staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and very attentive, which I appreciated a lot. However, I left feeling very disappointed. The horses only walked and wouldn’t even trot, so if you have any riding experience, I wouldn’t recommend going in with high expectations. We didn’t actually go for a real ride either – we simply went back and forth over the same short stretch of beach rather than taking a proper route. Additionally, the activity was supposed to be at sunset, but our session ran from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, and the sun actually sets around 5:30 PM. So we missed the sunset entirely, which was a big part of the appeal for me. Considering the price, I expected more. The promotional photos show horses galloping at sunset on an empty beach, and unfortunately the reality didn’t match that at all. While the staff were lovely and the logistics were well handled, the experience itself did not meet expectations, especially for experienced riders or anyone hoping for what is shown in the advertising images.

It was a sweet and very enjoyable experience, helpful crew, beautiful place and the pleasant experience, confirmed me to visit again and, of course, advised people to visit and try

We had an amazing day with Eman as our tour guide. She is knowledgeable, kind and was patient with us all throughout the day. This made our Muscat city tour memorable. At the end of the day, she took us to Rozna restaurant where we ate Shuwa, the traditional Omani meal. Thank you mytouroman for making everything memorable.

The horses are very calm and the location is nice i enjoy the riding and the experience was amazing the sunset and beach ride.

We recently went on desert overnight tour with mytouroman and it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, we felt completely safe thanks to our knowledgeable and well-prepared guide Turki, who made sure we were comfortable and informed about the terrain and safety measures through wadi mibam. The overnight accommodation were fantastic where we get to enjoy camel rides, go for dune off road drive and to view the scenic desert view. Not to mention the great breakfast and dinner provided. Recommend to everyone travelling to Oman!
