Discover the stunning Hong Island in Krabi by boat. This paradise island is belonging to the National Marine Park. Hong is literally translated as "room" from Thai and for a reason as the island is secluded with a lagoon completely surrounded by cliffs at the centre. You will be able to enjoy complete privacy, crystal clear water and sunny sandy beaches away from crowds of tourists to spend your own special moments. Itinerary 8.30 AM : Hotel pick-up from your hotel or meeting point to Hong Island
9.00 AM : Arrive in Hong Island with a professional guide. • The tour guide will bring you to the best place for snorkeling together with demonstrating the best way to snorkel. • Guided sightseeing to see the exotic highlight of Hong Island, including the “Room” (Lagoon) inside the island • A special drop by at a bird’s nests collecting point
12.30 PM : A picnic lunch is served on the beach. • Followed by transferring to the Lading Island (Paradise Island) for sightseeing & more snorkeling! You would get to discover the wonderful underwater stones here.
• Then go to the Pakbia Island & the Rai Island. The boat will stops by on the sandy beaches for relaxing, sun bathing & more water activities!
3.00 PM : Return to Ao nang Beach, thus transfers to your hotel. Notice: Itinerary may be subject to change depending on weather and tidal conditions

This was a great tour. But if I’m being honest, it’s overpriced. I have been on multiple tours now in Thailand and the majority of them are significantly less expensive for a similar experience.
Great tour but a confusing joining note. On the front it said pick up at our hotel Centara Grand but on the back it said we had to use the hotel shuttle to go to Nopparat pier where we had to wait quite a while to to be taken to town and back again. So a very long time to get started. Otherwise very good.

This tour was really good! You pay the National Park fee of 300 baht pp to the tour operator when you arrive at their shop in the town. We did originally book a longboat tour as wanted that experience but after booking was told it was not available but will be a speedboat at the same price. Smooth booking process door to door travel from our hotel all the staff were friendly and made sure we were all looked after and helping to get on and off the boat which can be a bit tricky as the boat is moving with the waves. Offered plenty of cold drinks and some snacks during the journeys as well as a lunch of chicken and rice once we arrived on Hong island. There is somewhere to also buy some bbq food and drinks there. Each island had a restroom. Speed boat was a little choppy but expected due to the waves. As the longboats take longer getting to each place I assume you don’t get as long at each stop so am glad we had a speedboat for that purpose. Clear time for return given at each stop. The islands are so beautiful and it was amazing to be there, the first 2 islands we didn’t spend a long time on as they were small and more boats were arriving, we set off early morning so were not turning up at each place at the same time as lots of others. I’m glad it isn’t peak season as can imagine everywhere being packed. Each island had a section for boats to moor and a place for swimming. Hong Island we spent a couple of hours on which was just breathtaking taking in the scenery. We did some snorkelling but once more people move about the sand it becomes hard to see. Not a big range of fish to see and only a small area where they swim. The sand is so soft and white and the sea is warm. There is another part to the island and a high view point we didn’t explore but felt what we did do was enough to enjoy. It will be an experience I will always remember.
