Homemade Pasta Class and Lunch in the Heart of Chianti

Our pasta-making class with Valentina and Annamaria was one of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon and one of our favorite memories from all of Italy. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us into their beautiful home like family. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made communication effortless. The setting in the Chianti countryside was breathtaking. Learning to make fresh pasta completely by hand was so much fun, and Valentina and Annamaria were incredibly patient, encouraging, and passionate about sharing their family traditions. It never felt like a tourist activity. It felt like being invited into someone’s home to experience authentic Tuscan life. After cooking together, we enjoyed one of the best meals we had during our trip, paired with wonderful local wine and incredible conversation. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and you could truly feel the love they put into the entire experience. We left not only with new cooking skills, but with memories we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Valentina and Annamaria, for making us feel like part of your family. This was a WONDERFUL experience. My son found this to be so fun and interactive. The hosts were so warm and inviting; their property is beautiful. And we got the most delicious lunch. A highlight of our trip to Italy.

This experience was a highlight of our trip! The ladies were so sweet and welcoming! They speak very little English but utilized a translation tool and the language issue was a Non-issue. We left filled with happiness in our hearts and bellies full of delicious authentic foods.

My mom & I had a wonderful time learning how to make pasta from Valentina & Anna Marie in the heart of Tuscany. Valentina's home is situated on a hill with a gorgeous view overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany. It was truly the highlight of our Italy trip. Making different types of pasta was very fun. While the pasta was drying, we then enjoyed a beautiful appetizer in her garden with a lovely spread of fresh Italian food before being able to enjoy our pasta we had made. The attention to detail throughout the day made the experience relaxing, enjoyable and very memorable to share with my mom. Highly recommend !!

We had a wonderful time with Valentine and Anna. Their love for their culture, family and food was evident from the first moment of their warm welcome. Everyone in our family of 6 lovef their experience, even my daughter-in-law who doesn’t love to cook …. she was one of the best at forming the orcchietti and fusilli! These two ladies put everyone at ease, no matter their level of cooking experience. We all laughed a lot and came away feeling like we experienced a piece of the true Tuscany experience. Hands down the best part of our entire trip. These women welcome you into their beautiful home and teach you family recipes. There is a language barrier but nothing that google translate can’t help with! They are funny and kind and just make you feel right at home. And the FOOD, outstanding. You won’t be disappointed by this excursion, book now.

We were in Italy for 3 weeks, and this experience is all we talk about with friends back home. It lasted about 4 hours, and Valentina and Anna Maria are the most friendly, welcoming, genuine hosts I’ve ever encountered. We made 4 kinds of pasta, plus a dessert that was handed down to them from their grandmothers and is so unique that it is hard to describe…think zucchini tart BUT INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! Received recipes and pics from the occasion. It was a pleasure to talk with them (AND EAT) for the afternoon. Don’t miss doing this. There is nothing like it back home.

Valentina and Anna Maria are lovely people to spend the afternoon with. I have attended multiple cooking classes in Tuscany but this one was special. Their instructions were clear and easy to follow even if you are not a cook. Making the four types of pasta was fun. The best part was the wonderful desert that I had never seen in Tuscany made from their family recipe. I can’t think of a better way to spend the day in Chianti then in the countryside with great people, food and wine!

Annamaria and Valentina made this the best experience of our Tuscany trip. They work together so well. They employed humor and expertise as they shared recipes and instructions. We all made our own pasta, and shared lunch at a gorgeous patio table. We were provided with appetizers, wine, the pasta dishes, and desserts.
