Itinerary
After meeting your friendly tour conductor, you will board a comfortable bus and begin your day of exploration in the beautiful Hokkaido region. Your journey starts with a scenic drive to some of the most beloved destinations in the area, where you’ll experience the stunning beauty of nature, local culture, and unique attractions. Your first destination is the charming Furano Marche, a delightful marketplace where you can discover a wide variety of locally made products. Here, you’ll have the chance to shop for traditional Hokkaido goods, including delicious cheeses, fresh produce, handmade crafts, and even cozy souvenirs perfect for taking home. Lunch is not included in the tour, but you can either bring your own before coming to the meeting place or purchase a meal at Furano Marche.
Next, you’ll head to Farm Tomita, one of the most famous flower farms in Hokkaido. Known for its breathtaking lavender fields, this spot is a true paradise for nature lovers and photographers. During the blooming season, from late June to early August, the vast lavender fields stretch as far as the eye can see, painting the landscape in vibrant purple hues. Even outside the lavender season, the farm is home to a wide variety of seasonal flowers that create a mesmerizing display of color, making it a perfect spot to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Hokkaido. As you wander through the fields, you can feel the calming scent of the flowers and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Your journey continues to the Blue Pond in Biei, one of Hokkaido’s most mystical natural wonders. This serene pond, with its unique cobalt-blue water, is surrounded by trees and has an ethereal, almost otherworldly quality. The striking color of the water, which changes depending on the season and the sunlight, is a result of natural minerals in the area. It’s an awe-inspiring spot for both reflection and photography, as the tranquil atmosphere invites you to slow down and take in the beauty of the natural world.
The final stop on your tour brings you to Campana Rokkatei, a sweet haven for those with a passion for Hokkaido’s finest confections. This charming store is a popular destination for picking up delicious local sweets, including the region’s famous Rokkatei chocolates and pastries. The store’s relaxing atmosphere, combined with the sweet scent of freshly made treats, makes it the perfect place to indulge in a little shopping or to enjoy a delightful snack. Whether you’re looking to pick up a gift or treat yourself, this stop is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. After an eventful day filled with breathtaking landscapes, delicious local products, and unforgettable sights, you’ll board the bus for your return journey to Sapporo (around 6pm).

It was really fun for us and the arrangement is good in order and timely. We would pay a visit to Hokkaido using your Viator.
Thank you very much for such a great review. We are pleased to know that you had a wonderful time and glad to know our staff could support you well to make your trip memorable. We would very much appreciate if you could choose our tours again when you travel to Japan. Sincerely,
It is actually a Japanese-speaking tour. There is an English assistant. Their English are very limited. They have tried very hard to help the English speaking tourists. The itinerary is good, the service is good. There is no any other options because this is the only tour accept English-speaker tourist.
The tour was very good. The highlight was the Blue Pond and the flower field which was beautiful and amazing! The length of the tour was too long and going to the viewing site with the ferris wheel and visiting Furano Marche could have been omitte. This would have cut out about 2 hours and gotten us back at a better hour for dinner. Overall, we covered a lot of places which would have been difficult had we tried to do it on our own.
This tour is worth it. If you had a rent a car you have to pay a toll gate fee and it’s such a long drive. Taking a bus tour is much better. Visiting lavender farm in July must be perfect to see fully bloomed flowers. We went there in late June but couldn’t see lots of flowers. Blue pons is beautiful. There is a sidewalk along with the pond. Better picture point is at the corner. Just walk down to avoid a crowd at first spot. You’ll find a better spot shortly.
We appreciate your great review. As you mentioned, since our tour is a bus tour, participants can enjoy their trip without any tiredness from driving (and save a bit of money!) We have a wide variety of tours for each season so we wish to offer our tours for you again when you will return to Japan! Sincerely,
the overall tour was well organised although arrangement at the meeting point was a bit sloppy due to many operators sharing the same reception area. the conductor was particularly commendable for her great attitude, energy and patience. her English was not perfect but she really put an effort to communicate to non-Japanese clients. lunch (onigiri) was a bit disappointing but the light dinner (chicken burger) was good. the bus could have been better equipped eg. with wifi and power sockets.

Tour to furano is amazing. Bus ride was Long but the tour gives us plenty of times in one place to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended to go this tour in July for lavender farm.
