It was okay

Positives - Booking was easy and the guide and driver were nice. If your goal is to see as much as possible then this tour is a decent choice. But, for us, it felt too rushed. I would have enjoyed less stops with more time at the lavender fields and Ningle Terrace, definitely could have skipped blue pond. The negatives- lunch was bad, melon experiencing was wildly overpriced.

Terribly Bad Arrangement.

We book for the tour, but there was no contact number of the operator. We wait at the meeting point before the departure time (08.00 am). We were waiting, look around and ask some people there for about 30 minutes but nobody know the travel operator. The operator didn't call or contact us. We contact Viator and their respon was delayed, we wait for about 30 minutes for their respon. Because of that we lost our time in Sapporo. We ask for the refund but the respon was very slow, we truly hope that we can get the refund immediately.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for your experience. Unfortunately, due to an internal booking processing issue, we were unable to arrange your tour as scheduled. We understand how frustrating it must have been to wait at the meeting point without receiving timely assistance, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and the disruption to your plans in Sapporo. Please rest assured that your refund has already been processed. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we apologize again for the disappointment caused.

Not Worth It

Overall was disappointed as we found out when we joined the tour that we overpaid. There were other who booked via Trip Advisor and only paid $80 and got a full lunch. We paid $110 and got an ice cream. Even the ice cream was not known to the guide and he had to make a few calls. The tour was just ok. The van was very cramped. If you are over 170cm it will be a squeeze. There were very few flowers in Biei and most of the shops in Ningle Terrace were closed. I would not recommend this trip in May. And also the fact we were overcharged.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. The package purchased through our platform included the tour with an ice cream stop rather than a full lunch, as specified in the booking details. Different booking platforms may offer different package inclusions and pricing, which can result in variations between travelers on the same tour. We also understand your concerns regarding the vehicle comfort and the seasonal conditions at the attractions. Flower blooming and shop operations can vary throughout the year, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. Thank you again for your feedback. Your comments have been noted and will be shared with the tour operator as we continuously work to improve our guests' experience.
