Itinerary
All tours depart from Salem's Old Town Hall, on the three steps. A local historian guides you through the cobblestone-lined streets of this 17th century city by the glow of lantern light. Explore the driving factors behind the infamous Witch Trials Hysteria of 1692, meeting real practicing witches along the way. Learn about the rise of Salem as a world-class haunted seaport, creating some of the wealthiest families in its history.
We will be strolling the cobblestoned streets of the Essex St Pedestrian walking mall. This is the very heart of Salem, which once was a Native American trading path. You will visit the site of the First Church of Salem and hear the haunting tale of the Lady in Blue.
One of the most photographed sites in the city, the Bewitched statue will be your next stop. Learn how the locals *really* felt about this 9 foot bronze statue being dedicated in 2005. Why are their security cameras fixed on Samantha?
We bring you to the memorial to pay respects to the victims of the 1692 Witch Trials.
We discus the history of the home and visit the Gardens (with permission). We do not go inside the home.
We stroll through a section of the historic district. Photo opportunities.
We discuss the history of the Witch House. We do not enter the Witch House, this is an outside activity only

- Wheelchairs and scooters are welcome, however, be aware that Salem has brick sidewalks, uneven surfaces and narrow areas. Visitors assume all responsibility with wheelchairs and WCWT will not be held liable.
- We do not enter any buildings or cemeteries on this tour, this is an outdoor activity only.
- Tour group size may be up to 40 guests per group during busy times
- There are no public restrooms on the tour route. Please plan accordingly.
- The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on all tours.
- Smoking and vaping is prohibited on all tours.
- Please allow at least 2 hours for this tour. Some tours run up to 2 hours and 15 minutes

The tour was amazing. We learned so much about Salem's History. Our guide did a great job of bringing the stories a live.
We loved our tour. Diane is a great story teller, with a lot of energy, and knowledgeable of local history. If you want to learn about Saleem and know a little bit more about the local history, we recommend this tour with Diane.
Heidy, our tour guide, did an amazing job explaining the history of Salem whilst keeping us fully invested through the rain. She was spectacular and did an incredible job. We highly recommend the tour to anyone who is considering doing it.
Henry was a fantastic guide and we learnt so much in the two hour walking tour! It was super hot out due to the heat wave, but they provided water for everyone and Henry did his best to keep the group in the shade as much as possible. It wasn't too big of a group so it was easy to stay together and hear everything. There is so much history to Salem that comes before and after the witch trials and I feel I have a much better understanding of the whole town now. Great tour!

I was actually unable to make the tour. The organizers were so understanding and accommodating. They absolutely refused to allow me to just walk away from my tickets and they insisted that I take gift certificates to come back. It really speaks to the character of the organization if they want to ensure you still get your experience after plans change and they already have your money.

Justin was a ton of fun, presented interesting facts with engaging stories, did a good mix of entertainment and jokes but also conveyed the serious nature of the Salem witch trials. Great stuff

Guide was very knowledgeable and energetic! We learned some much about Salem and the history of the witch trials. Quite a bit of walking so wear good shoes. Highly recommend.
