Walking through the streets of Al Fahidi, the oldest district of the city famous for its front towers, you enter inside the courtyards of the houses to admire the architecture and the serenity of the place.
Feel the real Dubai and what it once was in the historic Al Fahidi district. With its traditional houses, narrow streets and wind tunnels visible everywhere, it is a good place to soak up the history and traditions of the Emirates.
We pass by the Dubai Museum at Al Fahidi Fort (The oldest fortress in Dubai since the 1780s). (In restoration)
We will take small wooden boats (Abra - means of public transport) to have contact with the locals, and cross the Dubai Creek (natural arm of the Arab Gulf).
Proceeding towards the historic district of Bur Dubai and discover many colorful fabrics at the textile souk. You can browse an endless selection of raw silk, cotton and embroidered fabrics in this bazaar. Located just across Dubai Creek from many other popular souks, visitors will encounter dozens of shops and stalls at the famous market.
On this side are Dubai's oldest markets, the Spice Souk and the famous Gold Souk, one of the best photo stops.
We arrive at the spice market; oriental atmosphere with lots of colors and smells, like The Counts of a Thousand and One Night. Get to know all the different spices and shop at local markets at the best prices. Enjoy a tasting of local dates.
we spend time at the gold market, where there are ten tons of gold in its store windows, and where you will find the largest ring in the world (Guiness World Record).

Old historic Dubai tour was amazing. What made it more exciting is Noha the tour guide. Noha was professional and well organized. She was the timekeeper so we were able to visit several places Gold souk (market), Al Bastakia area (old downtown) and sail in Abra to the other side and visit old souk. Noha recommended for us areas for shopping and souvenirs which was great. Also she recommended nice cafe for delicious Karak tea and Shawarma sandwiches. We had unfortunate experience and we highly recommend Old Dubai tour with Noha
Thank you so much for the kind words It is my pleasure Glad you enjoyed the tour Hope to see you again to discover more hidden gems of Dubai
The first time I went to old Dubai was with Noha. I had never seen this old beautiful side of Dubai. She is very knowledgeable of the ins and outs of the markets there. She took us around to "little India" which is a hidden gem of beauty. We even saw baby camels! Noha gives plenty of time for us to explore on our own while making sure we are safe and taken care of. She is very accomodating to our interests if we want to spend more/less time in certain areas. The Abra ride was fantastic, knowing the rich history behind such a beautiful modern city was made even more special with Noha's input and her 20+ years of experience in tourism in the middle east. I highly recommend trying this tour out for exploring Dubai off the beaten path!
So touched by your kind words It is my pleasure Glad you enjoyed the tour Hope to see you again in UAE to show you more of its hidden gems
