10/10! Ron was an excellent tour guide, and so deeply knowledgeable about the city and its history. He was caring and kind and checked in on members of our tour who weren’t as confident on bikes. We used e-bikes as we weren’t sure how strenuous it would be — although i think I would have been fine on a regular bike, it was so nice and novel to give myself breaks and use the throttle on the e-bike to coast once in a while. The fact that they let you have the bikes/locks for the day is icing on the cake — we loved getting lunch after and going back and exploring forsyth park on bikes. Location is convenient to the historic district and easily walkable from Residence Inn and most of the affordable hotels near the historic district.
This was the best way to see the town and all its beauty
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled you enjoyed exploring the town on our bikes. It's great to hear the saddlebags made your ride even more convenient for carrying your essentials. We appreciate you choosing us and hope to see you again for another adventure!
Wonderful way to see Savannah!! Our guide, Ronnie, was a wealth of knowledge…made the tour so enjoyable. Riding bicycles was great way to get the lay of the land.
Thank you for the great review! Ron truly is a pleasure and brings the city of Savannah to life. Thank you for riding with us and we hope to see you again the next time you're in town.
This was a wonderful experience and our guide, Terry, couldn’t have been more interesting or energetic in her overall knowledge of Savannah. It was just the three of us, which was really nice and she made frequent stops so we can really get together and learn more about this wonderful city. Her knowledge of the history and the different aspects of the historic district were very interesting. Great job Terry!
Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re so glad you had such a wonderful experience with Tere, she’ll love hearing this. Her energy and deep knowledge of Savannah really do make each tour special, and we’re happy you enjoyed the smaller group setting and the time to stop, connect, and take it all in. We appreciate you joining us and hope to see you again on your next visit!
EJ is an awesome guide. Lovely tour of the Savannah historic downtown and the many squares. We are not regular bike riders but this was easy going and I felt safe the whole time. 10/10
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed exploring Savannah’s historic downtown with EJ—he’ll be thrilled to know you had such a great time. We’re especially glad you felt comfortable and safe on the ride. Thanks for the 10/10, and we hope to see you again for another easy-going adventure soon!
The e-bike levels were not used during the tour. The group traveled together slowly so the pedal assist capability was not needed. Could have gotten away with a standard bike. Melissa was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations for follow-up sites to visit and food/bar establishments. I found it was difficult to hear at the back of the pack through the headset.
Hi Lisa, thanks so much for your feedback, this helps us to consistently improve our tours. We're sorry you had trouble hearing but glad you enjoyed the tour overall. Thank you again for your insight and we hope to have the opportunity to host you on a future visit to Savannah!
Well being from UK i didnt fancy driving and considering its pretty touristy and no parking anywhere in the main town it was the best choice. And my air bnb was out the way abit. But the guide EJ was great. The whole tour was great. And you keep the bike for an extra $20 a day after the the first day. Honestly its the ONLY way to see alot of this beautiful place. You just ride along the streets amazed at the architecture and the plants/trees. I had a great time and the staff at Savannah on wheels are brilliant. The bike is light and you can get a phone holder and lights and a bike lock. The phone holder is $5 extra. So yeah book the tour and rent after you will not regret it as it will save on Ubers.
Thank you so much for this review, Paul. We wholeheartedly agree that biking is the easiest (and cheapest!) way to get around town. We're so glad that you enjoyed your tour with EJ and the rest of your time in Savannah. Thank you again for the kind words.
Had a wonderful time exploring Savannah and learning the history of the city. What was cool for us is that we were able to try out using electric bikes in a safe environment. Our guide, Linda was highly knowledgeable and safety conscious as we traveled the streets and squares.
Thank you so much George, you all were delightful and I'm glad the rain stayed away for the tour!
Fantastic and HIGHLY recommend the Savannah bike tour. City is flat and an easy ride. Route avoids most traffic. E-bike are fun!! Our guide Melissa was great!!!
Thank you so much Lorie, so happy you had a great time with Melissa!
