Historical and Cultural Walking Tour of San José del Cabo
Description
Story telling with a local guide: A unique outdoor experience learning the historical highlights of Los Cabos and the Californian peninsula. This tour is part of a community project. This tour is part A of a 2 part Tour. In this 1.5 hour sightseeing tour (1 mile, wheelchair and stroller friendly), we will walk and learn about the history, culture and legends such as the peninsula`s geology, how the natives lived, how colonization took place, about thieves, the San Jose del Cabo mission church. Part B for another day we cover the battle at the main square, hotels, famous celebrities and more. Starting on Álvaro Obregón Street in heart of the Art District (downtown San José del Cabo). Reservation required. Group size: There are 20 spots max available on this experience.You don’t have to fill all of them. Experiences are meant to be social, so other travelers could join too. We require at least 2 people to book to run this tour. If you have trouble booking just give us a call.

Really good history of some of the area. Kris was very good. He’ll encourage you to spread the local history as well as be smart about water conservation as a tourist.

If you really want to know the history of the place you are visiting, Kristian and his team are the best option. He takes you through the history of the area in such a beautiful way that it leaves you intrigued and wanting to learn more and share what you learned! We organized a city tour as a company activity, and all of my coworkers attended. I believe it is extremely important for the people who live and work in Los Cabos to know as much as possible about the history of this place; only then can one make consistent and coherent decisions regarding these lands. Kris knows a great deal about flora, fauna, traditions, customs, and more! Super interesting and necessary!
