Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot of history. I would say to wear sunblock and a hat, also make sure to bring water and a handheld fan. Definitely wear comfy walking shoes!
Frances was adorable. Certainly informative. Loved her cheer and spunkiness. She knew exactly where to stop for much needed refreshments. There was no water in Old San Juan the day we visited. We were finally able to use the restrooms at the fort. The fort was amazing! Loved the views. Love the history.
Narai was great. She was helpful and informed. We got a taste of the situation and history in PR which was great and important as a tourist to understand in the culture. Going on a Sunday had perks, but also some places were closed so we planned to return which was fine. Churches also were in session so visiting them were delayed. But that was out of anyone’s control! Happy to have gone on a weekend and had a great time walking around and learning about the city! She did a great job keeping the group engaged and comfortable (in the shade and watered) despite heat!
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Gave a very informative tour of Old San Juan. She was very patient and answered all the questions about the trip.
Fantastic tour. Narani was the best guide, she explained and shared lots of interesting facts. Loved the experience as is a great way to get to see san juan and learn about its history and key places
Tour guide no showed. Only notified 10 minutes before tour began. Extremely frustrated traveling out and tour not happening. I tried to call the tour guide company at 1:30 pm but it was “out of their business hours”. I tried to message but no one responded. Completely disappointed. Would not recommend going on this tour
Excellent visit to the main historical sites of PR. El Morro, The Cathedral, The narrowest house, The Convent and more
Cancelled last minute... constant reminders about the walk even though it wasn't happening. A text would have been wonderful as most of the communication was happening that way.
Dear Kerry, Thank you for your feedback, and we're very sorry for the frustration caused by this experience. We sincerely regret the late cancellation and understand how disappointing and inconvenient that must have been, especially while you were still receiving automated reminders. Your point about communication is well taken, and we agree that a more direct update would have been helpful in this situation. While we do our best to notify guests using the contact details provided at the time of booking, we recognise that our communication did not meet expectations here. We are reviewing how we manage last-minute updates to ensure they are as clear and timely as possible across all channels. We would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to look into this further. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at feedback@walks.org with your booking reference so we can review your experience more closely. Thank you again for your honest feedback. It helps us improve, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future. Warm regards, Princess Walks Feedback Team
She was very thorough in her knowledge of Puerto Rico and the places that she showed us. We got to visit some of the churches and El Morro. We were the only ones on the tour; so we got extra time which was nice.
Our guide was such a friendly native Old Juan resident. She provided so much history and fun little facts about the city and the local life!
Thank you for your lovely review! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed the perfect mix of history, nature, and sunshine during your tour. It’s wonderful that your guide’s local knowledge and friendly personality helped bring Old San Juan to life with both historical insight and fun facts. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and hope to welcome you again on a future tour! Kind Regards Walks and Devour Feedback Team
