Three different places to start/Park. 1) app said at Moose Lodge. 2) link for directions said across street near histor power station. 3) Narrator said on other corner from Moose Lodge. With no picture and no customer service we were lost. The walking tour was slightly out of date, talking about businesses that were no longer there as if they were. Also VoiceMap kept kicking me out making me come back to get the code and reenter it every single time we paused tour.
Hi there, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. This tour begins at the parking lot for Historic Folsom near the corner of Riley and Scott Streets. We had a terrible time downloading and starting the program! Very frustrating. The audio was good although some information was out of date.

Folsom is beautiful….the tour would NOT download on either of the 3 iPhones ….we purchased the tour and COULD NOT USE IT. Waisted my money…..again…Folsom is beautiful…the tour stole our money and did not work. Tried calling their number but it’s the holidays so no help there…waisted…WAISTED my money.
Hi there, I'm sorry this didn't work out for you this time. It is best to download your tour using a strong internet connection. When downloading your tour, the download should only take a few minutes to complete. If it takes longer or is stuck, please cancel the download. Then, go to "Account" or "Library" (depending on which version of the app you're using) and go to the top right hand corner of your screen to select "Purchased" or "Library" and restart the download from there. When the download completes, you’ll see a screen with a photo of the starting point and directions to it. The red start button will activate when you are at the starting point.
This tour was fantastic! Very easy to follow the instructions from location to location and very informative about the buildings and how Fulsom got started as a city.
Easy to maneuver map wise and informative tour. Highly recommend especially if you want to tour at your own pace.
The walk was very nice, and we learned a lot about historic Folsom. We along the way visited shops and look in the museums. Also, we enjoyed the workout! The scenery was very nice as well.
This was our first audio tour of this kind. It was great! Easy to download and get started. It says you need headphones or earbuds, but you can listen to the tour on your device without them. The guide was excellent and the historic tour was very interesting. Lots of opportunities to to visit places along the way- just pause the audio and take your time checking out the shops, cafes and historical places along the way. Be sure to stop by the Pioneer Village. The docents there were so friendly and informative. Folsom is a very quaint town with a rich history to be explored. Enjoy!
We enjoyed the tour but found it sometimes confusing. The guide would say continue but didn’t say when or where to stop so had to keep pressing buttons. Also a description of the area would have been helpful. We had no idea how steep and hilly mist of it was.
What a quaint little town. My wife and I had no idea there was so much history here. We love how this tour let's you go at your own pace while at the same time packing in a ton of really interesting content. Can't wait to try out some of their other tours. Highly recommended.
Have done some of the Monterey walking tours by this team, so we looked them up when visiting family in Sacramento. This was great, learned a lot, a great summer activity for visitors and locals alike.
