We loved the kayak tour. Our guide Allie taught us about the oyster beds and local waterways. We were treated to a small pod of dolphins feeding all around us. Seeing them at their level and as close as they were made it an experience we won’t forget! All of us have kayaked before so we felt comfortable with the distance and the currents.
Our tour guide Beth was amazing!! She had great fun facts about wild life and the surrounding area of HHI. We kayaked with a small group having 6 of us and the tour guide. It was really nice and private compared to other over crowded tours :)! This tour is worth your money!
We enjoyed our kayak trip. It was short but sweet. We ended up having a private trip since our family was the only one booked, which was amazing. Our guide was the best! Very friendly and knowledgable. The only small adjustment would have been to paddle faster so we could have gone much farther, but overall it was a nice relaxing experience.
The trip was about 90 min but it went buy so fast! We did get to see a dolphin, a lot of various birds, fish jumping, and oyster shells on banks! The grass growing through the water is so beautiful, it is a somewhat surreal experience, or maybe that's just me!
Awesome!! One of our favorite activities during our vacation! The kayaks are ocean kayaks, so very stable and good for all levels, we had people who never kayaked and people who kayaked a lot—it was good for everyone. Our guide, Cindy, was amazing! She was good at teaching everyone how to kayak and she was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun!! We saw lots of different wildlife and the highlight was when the dolphins swam over to visit us! The 90 minutes went fast, I would have stayed for another 90! It was great! 10 out of 10!
Exceptionally fun and relaxing! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to have an enjoyable time on the water. Highly recommended!
The experience was great and views were amazing. Rebecca was an awesome guide, she was knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable. Our group had kids and adults, it was accessible for everyone. A relaxed way to enjoy the area.
My two teenagers and I had a wonderful experience kayaking with Alli and Rebecca. They knew the history of the area and the wildlife really well. Made sure everybody stayed safe and had a good time.
My wife and I did the Eco Tour with Cindy. Got an earful of great information on the area and its ecology, some history, food suggestions, and general info on some of the property owners in Wexford and Long Cove that have influenced our living. Saw a bunch of dolphins. We kayaked on Broad Creek which isn't necessarily scenic. I would have preferred some more intimate lagoons and marshy areas but we had a great time. Next time we'll consider the Creek Cat tour. Thanks LCWS.
Once in a lifetime experience! Cindy was wonderful, so helpful and knowledgeable.I was very timed ,but she helped me in and out of the kayak and reassured me . So much information about the island, resources and sealife. Reasonable price and would do it again. Even great for beginners. Just DO it!
