The Path of the Gods has become famous in recent years thanks to its sky-line among the most suggestive and famous in the world that crosses the Amalfi coast rich of Mediterranean maquis where the vines makes it prodrona and grows along the ridge of the Lattari mountains that plunge into the blue sea of the coast from which you can see the island of Capri. Beautiful views !

This was a nice tour ,the guides were great and the views were spectacular. I would definitely recommend hiking shoes and walking sticks ,we brought our own because we weren't sure they provided them ( they do) We felt a little rushed at times and would have liked a little more time for photos at different places, but we understand we are on a,schedule . The stop at the Shepard's house was lovely and the bread, cheese ,tomato salad and hone were delicious. The only down side was we had the very last seat on the small bus and there was something sharp that was sticking out and my husband cut his leg on it . Luckily we always have wet ones and band aids on us . I told the bus driver but he just shrugged his shoulders and i also told the person I had been in contact with on what's app who said they would speak to the driver .. that was a week ago and we have heard nothing .

Awesome, rewarding, worth doing it. Not for kids.

Glad I decided to do it. I'm 70+ and reasonably fit. I found it well within my ability, despite one sore knee. Sheer drop to the side of te path and not suitable for kids. The views were breathtaking. However with the advice of our tour guide and in consideration of my knees, I chose the bus from near the terrace, to continue the last stage which consisted of 1800 steps down. Otherwise it was quite do-able. You need to be very assertive to beat the others onto the bus.

Unforgettable experience!

Unforgettable experience! Our guides Nino and Monica were knowledgeable, friendly and fun! They always made sure everyone on the home were doing ok. They gave us hiking poles which were so great to have!! The views are spectacular but just remember to wear good sturdy sneakers and that there is u even terrain and lots of steps as well. This is a must do!

Path of the Gods — so worth it!!!

Loved our hike with Giovanni / Johnny!! My husband and I did the hike and could not recommend it more - yes it was tough (while tougher for me than my marathoner husband) but so worth the toughness! Johnny was an expert on the journey and it was clear his love for the land, agriculture, people & the beauty of the coast!!

What a cool experience...

What a cool experience hiking this path which began in morning fog that quickly burned off to reveal beautiful blue skies and stunning views. It’s not an easy stroll, however, and we regretted wearing running shoes instead of hiking shoes/boots. I would also add it’s not a good activity for someone with bad knees or poor balance. There are a lot of tall (2 feet or so) rocky steps up and down. The hiking poles were helpful. Our guide was great. The whole experience was unforgettable.

Path of the Gods Tour April 2025

The guide was very familiar with flora and fauna along the trail that we hiked. Rest stops were very well timed for those who needed to rest. I very much enjoyed the stop at the shepherds house and music session. Fantastic views of the Gulf of Salerno, memories for a lifetime!
