We’re passionate about the mountain and love sharing it with others. The Hajar mountains is our office as well as our playground. Together we have gained many years of outdoor experience. This is a great little tour, a very early start and a bit of a drive from the city but well worth it for people looking to do something more than the usual attractions around Dubai. I did a solo hike and Chris, my guide, was great. Good conversation, great knowledge about the area, the geology and the local wildlife. I highly recommend getting up into the Hajar Mountains if you want to try something new.
Very attentive and helpful guides, recommended. The pickup /drop off at the hotel was easy to arrange, there was ample time given for rest stops etc
A good group to travel with, and if you chose their UAE hikes, you'd see some unique places, things you likely have not seen before....

Loved hiking with ECCA! Chris and his team are very knowledgeable and friendly! Hike was just beautiful and a perfect way to start exploring UAE and its treasures after our recent move! I was so nicely surprised by the mountains! And so many trails there! It’s best to go with knowledgeable guides that are well prepared and friendly other hikes from ECCA as it’s otherwise easy to get lost! I will be back after the summer!

Thank you for your prompt and courteous response to my booking 3 days in advance. I joined because I didn't speak English and was anxious, but I was a very kind guide who shared some things to note and what's great. If you love nature, we highly recommend you to join us. I was having trouble getting to the meeting place, but I was also able to ask for a cheap hotel transfer.
I have done a few hikes with ECC Adventures and each one was a great experience. The ease of booking, then the information of the hikes of what to bring, where to meet etc. Any questions were answered promptly via WhatsApp. On the day the guides are ready to meet at the selected service station, so that washrooms can be used and any last minute items purchased ie water, snacks or coffee to kickstart the day. The qualified guides are knowledgeable of the hikes, making us aware of any potential dangers. They are equipped with first aid and satellite phones in case of emergencies. Once on the hike ensure all participants are doing ok, and if some are going at a faster or slower speed, the group will be spilt to accommodate. This is a great way to enjoy the other side of the UAE and make new friends
5 out of 5 stars for this one. I was only in Dubai on a layover and wanted to do something active outside of the city. If you're looking for something similar don't hesitate to book this tour. Our day started early with a 6am pickup from the meeting point, which meant leaving DIFC around 5:30am. We were headed to the Wadi Thaena trail in Fujairah. The driver was super friendly and made a stop along the way so we could pick up waters and snacks. Plan to drink about 2 liters of water per person. The hike is a 7.5km, 410 M elevation gain hike lasting 4-5 hours. It's labeled as a moderate difficulty hike, but there were first timers as part of our group. If you're fit you can easily do this as a beginner. The guides will set the pace accordingly and provide helpful tips along the way. The pictures really speak for themselves, but it was a great day.
An excellent, rustic getaway from the hustle and bustle of life in the fast lane with a group of great people. ECC adventures hosted a memorable trip to the secluded coves of Musandam and it was epic. From the short hike down to smuggler's bay and then on the dhow to spend the night on a secluded beach followed by a day of watersports and a visit to some sea caves it was all spectacular. The ECC team went out of their way to give us a memorable experience. It was an absolute bargain and we will definitely be joining them on many more of their adventures. I highly recommend their hikes and trips. They are super professional, have a great vibe and culture about them and will help you love the outdoors here in the sweltering dester heat.
