We had a very experienced tour guide who shared the history of Wroclaw with us in such an engaging way. Learned so much and really enjoyed the stories. Our guide also recommended a famous pastry shop on the street — it was delicious! Before the trip ended, he even shared a Google link with a list of highly-rated spots to check out. Very informative, pleasant walking tour through old town with Marcin. A lot of history and fun facts. This is a great way to familiarize yourself with this university town.
We were fortunate to have a very knowledgeable tour guide, Martin, who gave a great tour of the university, particularly the convocation room with it abundant artwork. The music room was closed. Our group felt we had seen enough city historical buildings, statues and gnomes that in the cold temperatures we did not want to go to the island for cathedral viewing, which would have far exceeded the advertised tour time, but not Martin’s enthusiasm to provide a stimulating experience.
A private tour is such an incredible way to learn the history of Wroclaw. I had been walking around the area and didn’t know the history of the buildings I was seeing! The city came alive for me!
