My wife and I did this on our first day in Florence, and it was such a great way to get a lay of the land, learn about the history, and understand how the city developed over time. Our guide was amazing, and she made the day so enjoyable. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Florence.
Urban bikers need to be able to do more than just ride a bike. You need to be able to navigate pedestrians and traffic too! Our guide did an excellent job at leading our group throughout the ride.
it's July in Florence and it is really hot. this was an amazing way to view the city. we had a fabulous tour guide named Nadia who is expert on the city and was a local. in addition, her English was perfect. her knowledge of the history of the city was incomparable and we learned so much and had a great time. we took e-bikes which made the trip a breeze, although it wouldn't have been that hard on a regular bike. most important this is a living City and so Nadia took special Care to make sure that we navigated the street safely. we highly recommend this activity
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We're so glad you chose e-bikes to beat the July heat, and that Nadia's local expertise and incomparable knowledge of Florence's history made the tour so memorable. It's wonderful to hear she took such great care navigating you safely through the city's lively streets. Thank you for highly recommending us, we hope to welcome you back to Florence soon!
Loved the tour- we had boys 9 and 13, and it was safe for them to ride around the city. The kids said it was the best tour we have done during the entire trip. A nice gelato stop and good recommendations from the guide. Highly recommend it, def a must do
Thank you so much for this fantastic review! We're thrilled the whole family enjoyed the tour, and that your boys said it was the best one of the trip, that really means a lot. It's great to hear the route felt safe for them and that the gelato stop was a hit too. Thanks for highly recommending us, we hope to welcome your family back to Florence again soon!
It is out in traffic but manageable. Bouncy rides but no real hills. The info is interesting if heavily slanted as you might expect. They take their job seriously, taking care of you and answering questions.
Fantastic tour of Florence. Great bikes, no need for e-bike upgrade. The tour was informative, fun, entertaining and even included a gelato stop! Our guide, Giovanni, was fantastic and did a great job keeping us safe and giving us the history. We traveled with our 2 kids (ages 10 and 12) who have experience riding bikes in US streets with cars, but this was next level. We still felt safe and had a great experience. It was a great experience, only about 4 miles of riding, but lots of great information and fun a long the way. Thanks Giovanni!
The equipment was well maintained and very functional. Having headphones to hear the guide explaining things is always helpful. July is a very busy month in Florence. Writing through the streets and popular tourist areas was quite challenging.. We did the 9:30 AM tour, many people were already on the streets. I would recommend doing an early morning tour to avoid the crowds
Great time, great tour of the highlights of Florence. Our guide was Alex/Allessandra. The radio headset each person wore made it very easy to hear her and to feel part of the group. I’ve done many group tours and this was the first where I could say that- usually the people in the back of the group can’t quite hear. She looked out for everyone’s safety and gave us some insight into the differences between osterias and cafes and restaurants. We heard some fun facts about the very, very violent game of Florentine Soccer. Very worth doing this tour- it was a nice introduction to this beautiful city.
Great morning spent biking through the various areas of Florence. Good way to get an overall orientation with plenty of history and information along the way and then decide what you would like to explore further on your own. Had a great guide and a great activity.
Our guide Alice was passionate and knowledgeable! It was wonderful to see the city through her eyes and tour on bikes! I highly recommend!
