Itinerary

15 min

The ride starts from the ancient and bohemian Ticinese district, that owes its name to the eponymous city gate, and from there you saddle up on a classic Dutch-style bike through the must-see areas of the center.

20 min

You will see the astonishing gothic Duomo Cathedral, the understated Royal palace, the Museo del Novecento and the chic Vittorio Emanuele Gallery.

5 min

You will see from the outside another of the prime Milanese attractions that exudes class and sophistication: the Teatro alla Scala. The story behind the theatre is full of interesting facts and details you will love to learn.

15 min

From La Scala Theatre you head to the Brera artist district where is the city’s Pinacoteca (Art Gallery). Brera is a picturesque neighborhood in Milan where it is impossible not to be charmed by the small artisan workshops in a labyrinth of streets dotted with well conserved period Milanese houses and buildings.

15 min

Once you left Brera, you immerse yourselves in the new rising architectures of the Porta Nuova district. From now on you will have the impression of visiting another era of the city: Palazzo Lombardia, Biblioteca degli Alberi, Unicredit tower, Bosco Verticale, a paradise for architecture enthusiasts.

25 min

You make a triumphal entry at Sforza Castle, a strong historical symbol of the city where, among various architects and designers, worked Leonardo da Vinci, who was called to Milan by Ludovico il Moro in 1482.

10 min

After visiting the Sforza Castel courtyards, you breath and slow down a bit in the green lung of the city, Simplon park, with its elegant neoclassical Peace Arch.

15 min

You get back to the starting point not before visiting the Roman Ruins of the Imperial era when Milan was capital of a glorious Roman Empire with its Palace, Circus and Amphitheatre and San Lorenzo columns.

Family tour

This is a great overview of the city of Milan. Our guide did a nice job of stopping in shady spots and helping us find water fountains on a sweltering Milan day. The ride itself is mostly flat and fairly easy to navigate. The bikes were comfortable and in good repair. Highly recommend.

A must-see in Milan!

Paolo is a very interesting guide. He guided us through the streets of Milan in the heat but always managed to find shady spots. Very cautious and at a pace that allows for a good view of the city and its treasures. Well-prepared guide with a briefcase full of photos from the past. Bravo!

You should be a competent...

You should be a competent rider as it’s through some traffic in the city streets. Mostly flat and easy to keep up. The guides were great, informative, and very pleasant. We saw sights we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Would do it again for sure.

This is the one to take!! An exceptional tour, highly recommend!

There were two different bike tours to choose from, and we chose this one because it hit more of the bigger landmark instead of just riding through neighborhoods. Our guide was phenomenal.!! We’re learned so much about Milan. And We even got to stop for gelato. The bikes were comfortable, and the three hour bike ride went by very very fast. I highly recommend doing the tour! Definitely a good purchase. Would even take this again on our next trip to Italy!

We love take a bite tour on day one in a new city. It's great to get to know the different neighborhoods without having to think about where you are going. We hit all the main neighborhoods and Paolo was great about giving us lots of info on the history of each. Would definitely recommend!

Do it!

Enthusiastic and expert bike tour which gives an immediate complete picture of Milan in terms of past and present. The best kept secrets are also passed by under the direction of Renate who has lived in the Milan region for 30 years.
