Take a walk at the Explanade de Espana, and be dazzled by more than 6 million ceramic tiles on the promenade floor. Get amazed by the Spanish Boulevard on the seaside. Admire the Baroque façade of the Town Hall and the modernist Casa Carbonell, one of the city’s most striking buildings.
Next, walk down to the quaint old quarter of the Barrio de Santa Cruz and discover quiet streets of colorful buildings. Experience a typically Mediterranean way of life before going to the 17th-century Co-cathedral of Saint Nicholas of Bari, built on the remains of a mosque.

The Basilica of Santa María is a basilica located in the Plaza de Santa María in the Spanish city of Alicante. A baroque church that encapsulates the history of the city and from where we can enjoy fabulous views. The church was part of the city walls and houses an interesting collection of baroque art.
The town hall is the very centre of the city, from where Calle Mayor and the Santa Cruz neighbourhood extend. The town hall was built in the 18th century and houses the measuring point for all heights in Spain.

Silvina was an amazing tour guide as me and my dad had only 3 days in Alicante before we left back for the UK . She was amazing and very talkative so it was never an awkward silence and also extremely fun with her showing us amazing views throughout the city of Alicante . We will always remember this great experience especially my dad cause his legs were extremely sore after . And once again Thank you Silvina for this experience
