Itinerary
Starting our wildlife themed tour, our first attraction is a visit to an award winning fold (herd) of Highland Cattle one of the oldest breeds in the world ! There are over 50 'Coos' here and often have calves with them.
Meet and greet all the 'gang' in their shed, Alpacas are super friendly and are always excited to meet new people. Your one hour forest walk with an Alpaca on a leash starts at 11:30am (sensible footwear is recommended. The walk will take place in all weather conditions) This walk is included in the price of the tour.
The Scottish deer and wildlife centre is 45 minutes away, home to 12 different species of deer, wolves, bears, wildcats, lynx, falcons, owls and the extremely shy and elusive Haggis ;) . Our stay here is for two hours. Entry is free but there is a donation box.
The tallest horse statues in the world, these iconic mythical statues are a great attraction to finish the day.

This was a great day trip! The value for price was awesome and Diana was fantastic!
So happy you had an amazing tour, Diana will be super pleased you mentioning her by name
It was an amazing experience for animal lovers who enjoy watching and interacting with them. Our guide, Diana, made the tour feel really cozy and relaxing. All the animals were fantastic, and I especially loved feeding the deer and highland cows. But what really made it all worthwhile was walking the llamas. There was no rush at all, which was great because I hate feeling hurried. Overall, 10/10 would recommend!!!
Thank you very much for the 5 stars and recommendation! Diana will be very pleased :)
I’m so happy we booked this tour! Diana was absolutely amazing and had such a vast knowledge about not only the animals we were seeing but also the structures and land we drove past. This tour was by far the highlight of my trip to Scotland!
Thank you so much Amanda! Glad you had a great day with Diana and saw some lovely creatures! Take care
We went on this tour as part of our annual girls (family) trip. We had a great time with Fiona! She was super friendly, attentive, and even took some awesome pictures & videos of us while at the alpaca center that we loved! Thank you so much Fiona!
What a wonderful review and kind words for Fiona!! The alpacas tour is very special
Very fun day out. The highland cows are super cute and the kids went crazy with walking the alpacas. The Scottish countryside is beautiful. The guide was very friendly and accommodating and good with the kids.
We really appreciate your feedback, and it's a great family experience for all. Many thanks
