Great Experience

The High Roller is a unique version of an old fashioned ferris wheel and a ride on it is memorable and should not be missed. The massive creation features enclosed spherical pods which, on our visit, held fifteen riders. Ride literature indicates that it can hold 40 people, but in my opinion that would limit the experience and leave riders vying for prime viewing spaces. Fifteen people was comfortable and allowed everyone to move around leisurely and enjoy the entire experience. The clear windows offer 360 degree views of Las Vegas - from the Strip to the Sphere to the desert, you can see it all. Bench style seating along part of the perimeter offers an option for those that find standing difficult, but it will impede viewing. The High Roller moves very, very slowly and operates without stopping to let passengers on or off. The smooth operation and slow rotation creates a seamless experience without the starts and stops found on amusement park attractions. Once aboard, you will gradually ascend to the peak and then slowly return, with the overall ride being about 30 minutes. One criticism is that the windows appear to have not been cleaned on the outside in some period of time. They were not grimy or filthy, but definitely affected taking photos. Given the cost of the ride, I think that the LINQ can pay someone to wash the pod glass more frequently. Listed below are a couple of tips to get the most out of the experience. Tip 1: Go at night. There is nothing like the glitz and glamour of thousands of lights on the Strip the make the evening magical. Tip 2: Make sure you take in The Sphere on the opposite side of the car from the Strip - it is amazing from an elevated position. Tip 3: Look for discounted tickets. The regular retail price if purchased at the gate is expensive. Look for discounted tickets at online travel sites or at the LINQ Players Club desk.

I would say that if the guest has mobility issues, like my mother and I, you may want to let potential guests know about the process of getting on and off the pod. The process of getting on and off while moving, even at a slow pace, could be challenging.

Lots of fun and not scary! If you are 21 plus don't miss the drink cab.

This ride is a must do, the views at 550 feet are spectacular, we took are whole family in one unit and had plenty of room for us.

Love

Second time doing this, a fav!! Seeing the city at night is lovely. Great for anyone really! Brought my sister since it was her first time in Vegas. She was terrified of heights but ended up loving this activity

Horrible experience

I brought the Happy half hour drink package and they stuffed 25 strangers in the dome with only a few seats. The drinks were made with cheap liquor and were very weak. Don’t waste your time or money!

Family fun

The process to board went smoothly. Staff were communicative. Some great views of the strip. Definitely recommend if you enjoy seeing night lights from a height. The compartment is large and able to hold a decent amount of people. We were on with about 12 others and I would’ve rather had less people on with us but overall it was a good and memorable family experience

Beautiful Views

The wheel moves slowly enough that you don't even realize you're at the top when you get there. Beautiful views from every angle. I'd say night time is the best time to see the bright lights of the city.

Woo Hoo

Beautiful scenery at night. I am normally afraid of heights, I wasn’t afraid at all (until I stood in the window). Its a great picture moment. I didn’t mind the pricing, I’m sure upkeep is costly and it’s staffed, so there’s that. Going so high in the air I don’t mind paying for my safety.

Cheaper tickets with viator, no wait with prepaid tickets for the wheel. Any time ticket was great, went on the last loop around at night.
