High Mountain Experience: A Journey through the Andes

Description
Embark on a unique experience through the imposing Andes Mountains. At each stage of this tour, the winding roads reveal amazing landscapes and jewels that combine human ingenuity, such as the Potrerillos Dam, with natural wonders such as the iconic Inca Bridge and the imposing Aconcagua Hill. We start early, bordering the Mendoza River along International Route 7, where you will be greeted by spectacular views of the Cordón del Plata and the Potrerillos Dam water mirror. As we advance, we arrive at Uspallata. The path takes us through the towns of Picheuta, Polvaredas and Punta de Vacas. But the real show awaits you at Puente del Inca, an amazing natural architectural work with thermal springs that seem taken from a dream. A few kilometers from Puente del Inca, at 2750 meters above sea level, you will find the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, the giant of America with 6959 meters that dominates the landscape. We continue to Las Cuevas.

I bought the tour through DECOLAR and the receptive was carried out by Enterprise CEPAS. Totally correct and helpful. The schedules are fulfilled, the tours took place without any downtime.
Very nice tour and very trained guide and attentive to each person, congratulations! They made us feel very comfortable.
Buenas tardes, agradecemos sus comentarios, y nos alegra que haya disfrutado de nuestro servicio. Saludos
What they promised for this tour was fulfilled, the tour was completed. The guide very attentive, professional, respectful, with a very pleasant character, with a lot of knowledge and masters all the information. Mary (Mariel), a Chinese guerita, was a 100% guide. The natural places we enjoyed very much, we were picked up at our hotel and returned to the same place. The driver handled well and very prudently. One recommendation would be that at the beginning of the tour there be some integration activity with all travelers, to get to know each other and create a more pleasant atmosphere. But ultimately I do recommend the tour.
This tour was advertised with an English speaking guide and a maximum of 10 people. The guide provided little English and most of the English was logistics such as how much time we had at a stop. In addition they said there was a maximum of 10 people and there was close to double the number on the bus.
I had already read that this is a long ride, and in our case it lasted just over 12 hours. The places visited have beautiful landscapes, such as the Portrerillos dam, the stop to play in the snow on a mountain in the Andes, and the Puente Del Inca. The Guide who accompanied us, Abigail, interacts with the group all the time explaining the history of the places we are going through. However, the first stop at the support point of Uspallata is quite simple and it was not explained to us if we really need to rent snow clothes, which we ended up not renting and we regretted because the snow was very sweet and could not explore the place with normal clothes. Later, we stopped in a village for lunch, worth 15,000 pesos per person, but the food was not good, with an aspect that we did not like and we did not have another meal option indicated, and we had to satisfy ourselves with a food that was not worth the amount paid. At Puente Del Inca, despite a beautiful landscape for photos, it was crowded, there was no bathroom on site. After all, the tour as I said is worth the scenery, but if you expect something more comfortable, it may not be the best tour to do
I loved it, I enjoyed it very much. The guide was necessary, friendly and with very interesting information. Mendoza in autumn is beautiful
The communication from this travel company is poor. We were told via Viator that pickup would be at 7:30am but the pickup didn’t arrive until an hour later. In the meantime we were worried we were left behind and when contacting the company via viator (since we never received a phone number ) there was no response. Once picked up the tour guide was nice but the trip was disappointing because we weren’t able to see the last stop (Christ) and because we felt like we did unnecessary stops in some places and too short time in other locations. Would not do this tour again but it was good enough for a short trip in Mendoza.
THE GUIDE EXPLAINED THE TRIP WELL THE FOOD WHERE WE STOP WAS VERY EXPENSIVE AND HORRIBLE AND THE PRICE WAS IN PESOS AND WHEN IT ARRIVED ON THE CARD IT ARRIVED IN DOLLARS
To see the Andes from the ground, the history, the culture. Great time out with other travellers, the driver and our guide Jose.
Excellent service, the guide Abigail was spectacular, explaining every detail of each of the points of interest visited
