Hidden Lagoons - Baltinache

I went with my wife this week and I confess I expected more. Not in terms of beauty, because in fact it is very beautiful. However, there is a large drive from the entrance to lagoon 7, where you can take a bath. Also the water is cold, although you quickly adapt. What weighed most on us was the fact that you were with your body completely covered in salt and you were given only 30 seconds, that is, to remove the salt. The shower is external and goes in groups, one in each, being opened by a person from the park, who controls the time. So do not leave this tour for the last before the flight thinking that you will take a nice bath and change clothes, as we had people in the group. Upon arrival at the hotel we had to take a beautiful bath to remove the salt that was still in the body.

This was one of the best tours in San Pedro de Atacama! In addition to the landscapes, floating in the lagoon was a unique experience! Not to mention our guide PABLO QUEZADA who was the best guide in all aspects! Super friendly, explains and knows everything about the place, the cocktail was also the best of all the tours, in short it was a wonderful afternoon! I recommend “super” as they say in Chile!

We are Brazilians and we did 3 tours with Felipe, Geiser, Valle de la Luna and Lagunas de Baltinache. He was always very attentive and I can say that we made a friend in Chile. We recommend Jaer tours!

This tour was half a day - we did the afternoon one. Our guide was Edwin and driver Andres- both very professional and Edwin was very informative of the location, history and overall tour. He also took various pictures of us and the group - he knew the best picture spots! We visited 2 lagoons and on the second one we all took a salty dip. At the end the spray you with water to get the salt out. The tour is ended with a nice picnic overlooking the dessert with snacks and of course pisco!!! Recommend!

The tour takes half a day, the lagoons are beautiful, but after swimming, the salt is really annoying on the skin, and there are no showers. Even though this tour can be booked in San Pedro directly for half the price - btw the same is true for all other tours offered here - it is still not worth it! You can cycle to Laguna Cejar instead which is much closer.

The place is beautiful, clean well kept. The tour guide only say a 10/10, interactive, good treatment with tourists, friendly recommended 100%.

Basically a nice experience. Personally, however, I find the price completely overpriced. You just pay for a ride there and a drink. That's cheaper, too. The lagoon itself is beautiful but overflowing.
