Our sailing tours are designed based on safety, experiencing nature, human interaction and cultural exchange. Our knowledgeable crew is happy to share all the local knowledge concerning the surrounding nature and the history of the area. You will be encouraged to participate in sailing if you wish to and even take the helm of our large yachts under the guidance and supervision of our professionals. We will anchor in secluded bays at a minimum disturbance. Take your time and relax, just make sure that you grab a mask and dive in the crystal clear water. Our organic, local fresh lunch served on board has been one more reason why our guests continue talking about our tours over and over again.

Pickup Locations & Times
Kindly note that booking price includes pickups at a range of 10 km from the port. Your taxi/minivan/minibus will wait for you outside your hotel main entrance. Transfers further than 10km from Heraklion are available upon extra cost, minimum 20€.

My family and I had an amazing time sailing to and from the island of Dia plus swimming in the waters by the island was incredible it was the most beautifully clear water I’ve ever seen! Stunning! The food for lunch was also incredible. Our skippers Petros and Redi were great! They provided so much knowledge and they were so kind and fun! Would definitely highly recommend!!
We were picked up at the harbor by a crew member and then went directly to the sailing yacht. On board, there were 10 of us plus our two skippers Redi and Petros. Despite the stormy crossing, we felt safe. When we arrived in the dreamlike bay of Dia, we could swim to cool off, snorkel, and a SUP was also available! Our crew prepared a wonderful dinner for us! After 2 cozy hours, we headed back toward Heraklion, and along the way, there was a beautiful sunset! A trip with Redi and Petros is highly recommended. Thank you for this unforgettable excursion!
We had an amazing experience, had lots of time to snorkel and relax. The crew was so nice, Theo and Kozmas. The food was delicious, got some fruit snacks after swimming. We even got to see dolphins during the sail.

We had a fantastic experience with Altersail. Our crew Petros, Redi and Elena, were professional and also a lot of fun. They accommodated our vegetarian request and the food was fresh and delicious as you’d expect in Greece. Overall I’d highly recommend this tour and crew. Our driver was amazing as well he picked us up on time was friendly and we felt very safe and comfortable.
The captain took safety very seriously. We sailed out to Dia, swam then had beverages and lunch and swam some more. It was a very well run afternoon.
A fantastic sailing trip to Dia Island! Everything was perfectly organized, the food was delicious, and the scenery was breathtaking. Petros and Bedi were great – friendly, professional, and always striving to ensure everyone felt comfortable. Thanks to them, the tour became a real highlight of our vacation. We took a tour with a total of 6 people, it was very relaxing. Our captains Petros and Redi did a great job and took excellent care of us. The swimming stop at the island was breathtakingly beautiful and the lunch was great. We can only highly recommend this excursion!
