Helen N. Georgia Private Winery Tour, Dine and Shop from Atlanta

Ms Darlene is an absolute gem. Communication was good. Pick up smooth. Darlene was very knowledgeable and shared this during the long drive. The tour started on a good note and in between my coworker had a personal emergency which meant we had to shorten the tour- Darlene navigated this well and with care. Despite this, I left with a memorable experience of Atlanta. Can't recommend her and this tour enough!

Martin was a great driver and took care of us at each winery. North Georgia wine country was beautiful and we enjoyed live music at both wineries and in the cute German town of Helen

Darlene was our driver, and she is the kindest and most wonderful person. She was very attentive and let us go at our own pace, always making sure we were okay. She made the experience even better. If you’re going to take the tour, ask to be with Darlene — you won’t regret it. She is truly a sweetheart.

Our driver Darlene was kind, patient and funny, and made sure we had the best time on our trip. The first winery Serenity was our favourite as the wines better suited our European palettes but we were pleased to go to the Cottage as well as it was in such a beautiful setting. We found a great bar in Helen, which was a little away from the main square. All in all a great day out.

Had a delightful day with Darlene on our Helen, Georgia wine tour. Our first stop, Serenity Cellars, was a highlight… delicious wines and attentive service from Abby. We enjoyed the time in Helen with a visit to a very good local German restaurant and a walk about the adorable Bavarian town for shopping and sightseeing. Darlene, our host for the day, was one of those special people that you can tell really loves what she does. It shone through the energy she gave us all day, her attention to every detail including our music preferences and videos outlining our destinations, to her positive energy and sense of humor and most of all, her flexibility throughout the day, to make the tour just what we hoped for!

We went on a private wine tour with Darlene to 2 wineries. The wineries were excellent and views were gorgeous! Darlene then took us to Helen where we shopped around and Darlene gave us extra time! She stopped at a gas station to buy us water and a snack. Darlene was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice on where to go and spend our next day in Atlanta!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting at two beautiful, quaint wineries in north Georgia. The drive as you go farther north is just beautiful. We also had about an hour to dine or shop in the Bavarian town of Helen. Everything about our trip was so enjoyable, but if I could add anything that I would have liked is to have a little more time in Helen. You can’t dine and shop in the short time in Helen. It doesn’t change my 5-star review. The highlight of our trip was our driver/guide, Darlene! She was so fun and engaging in conversation. We talked and laughed all the way to our first winery. We even met her boss, Martin, who was doing another tour at our first winery. He came over and introduced himself to us and thanked us for booking the tour. He also explained how Darlene wasn’t scheduled to work that day, but she changed her schedule so she could accommodate our tour. I really appreciate that Martin and Darlene went above and beyond to make our tour happen and made it so much fun!

Hit the best wineries near Atlanta with a very knowledgeable guide. We had Martin who was phenomenal.

I highly recommend the North Georgia wine tour with Martin. The guide, Martin, is very polite and communicative. I had the pleasure of participating in a private tour. We had a very enjoyable time together, and the tour schedule was tailored to my expectations. During the trip, I visited three wineries, each offering different types of wine. At the end we visited the town of Helen. The entire trip took place in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Ashley was Amazing!! This review is directed towards the tour agent! Do Better!! This was basically an Uber ride to two wineries where we were given gold fish crackers and soup crackers… and dropped off in a small town to walk around. No history or overview of the wineries or town was given. It would have been nice to get a background of the grapes, wines, vineyards.. But, nope. We managed to run into other group tours who were getting the full vineyard experience… for $100 cheaper!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
