Itinerary
Langfoss is a spectacular 612 meter long waterfall in Åkrafjorden. It’s so beautiful, that in 2011 CNN included it on their list of the worlds 10 most beautiful waterfalls. Langfoss finds itself in a fairy-like landscape, surrounded by steep mountains and wide hillsides, and small farms. This is the place to experience the real nature in it’s entirety. A trip to Langfoss is a must while visiting Haugalandet. IMPORTANT! A week before the day's tour we will send you a message with the final schedule of the tour. The departure time is set by the operator.
Haraldshaugen is a beautiful national monument that commemorates the unification of Norway in a single kingdom. The monument was built in 1872 to commemorate the thousand years of Norwegian unification after the Battle of Hafrsfjord.
We make a logistical stop so that you can have a drink or a snack if you wish, with a good view of the fjord.

Great sites… and the waterfall was impressive- great way to see the area. Very helpful staff! Easy to navigate from the cruise ship port!
The bus was very comfortable and the seating was reserved which allowed our group to be together. The driver and the guide were fantastic.
Great tour excursion. Easy to find the tour company right outside the ship. Very organized. Comfortable and clean bus. Beautiful scenery and waterfall. Guide was very informative. This tour was well timed to get us all back to the ship on time. Would recommend it.
Great communication regarding meeting times and where to meet. Charming hostess who narrated throughout the bus ride to the fall. Gave interesting information about the city. Kept the group on time so we can visit more scenic sites.
The water fall was fabulous. The tour guide was super, she knew her stuff and was a friendly as could be.
Tour guide Was very informative with history, stories and local lore and general knowledge and information. Gave a good flavor to everything. Would highly recommend.
Bit of a drive 1.5 hours each way. Beautiful countryside and waterfall. Bus coach very comfortable. Gabriela was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide that narrated our excursion on the bus ride. Gale was a very good and careful bus driver, we appreciated him. We purchased a hot dog at the falls when we stopped and it was very good. The next stop at the restaurant had many choices to purchase, grab n Go sandwiches, salads, ice cream, muffins etc with an attached grocery store to buy different items. The monument to Norway's 1st King was the last stop before heading back to ship. Approximately 5 hour trip. We enjoyed the excursion.
Lily was fantastic host, knowledgeable and fun. With added punctuality. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
The trip was well organized, punctual, and excellently explained by the German-speaking tour guide. A lot of historical and interesting explanations. Great 45-minute stop at the impressive waterfall.
