Itinerary
Pass by the Hawthorne Bridge that joins Hawthorne Boulevard and Madison Street. This truss bridge is the oldest vertical-lift bridge operating in the United States and the oldest highway bridge in Portland.
Pass by the Marquam Bridge which is the busiest bridge in Oregon. It is a double-deck, steel-truss cantilever bridge carrying Interstate 5 traffic.
Cruise by OMSI and see the USS Blueback, a barbel class submarine in the United States Navy.
Cruise under this cable-stayed bridge known as the Bridge of the People.
Cruise under the Ross Island Bridge that connects Arthur Street to Powell Boulevard. This is a cantilever truss bridge that spans the Willamette River.
Cruise by the oldest continually operating amusement park in the country. Oaks Amusement Park opened in May 1905 and is just 3.5 miles south of Downtown Portland.
Cruise under the Sellwood Bridge. This is a deck arch bridge that spans the Willamette River.
Cruise by this riverfront part covering about 7.6 acres in southeast Portland.
Cruise by Waverley Country Club, one of the first golf clubs in the west, established in 1896. Fifty years before the construction of Waverley Country Club on the current site, its history can be traced back to Henderson Luelling, known as the Johnny Appleseed of the West. It is believed by many that the presentation of the green jacket at the Masters started at Waverley.
Cruise by much of Tom McCall Waterfront Park which has 36 acres of open space and is host to a variety of events throughout the year.
Cruise under the Morrison Bridge, named after a Scottish immigrant, John L. Morrison, who built the first home on Morrison Street.
Cruise under the Burnside Bridge, distinctive for its Italian Renaissance-style towers and was made famous by its architect Joseph Straus, who was also the architect for the famed Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
The Oregon Convention Center is easy to recognize from the water due to its two blue-green glass spires.
The Rose Quarter campus includes the Veterans Memorial Coliseum and Moda Center. The Moda Center has a seating capacity of nearly 20,000 for NBA basketball games and is the current home of the Portland Trailblazers.
The Steel Bridge is quite remarkable for all its design characteristics. It is the world's only double deck bridge with independent lifts.
The Burnside Bridge is a great spot to view the "Portland Oregon" sign also known as the "White Stag" sign, which we’ll pass on the port side of the vessel.

I was aggressively yelled at by whoever you hired as a photographer for my Happy Hour Sightseeing tour on Saturday June 20th, 2026 3:30. This was utterly disrespectful and no way to treat a customer for what is supposed to be a premium experience. Your employees should treat your guests with respect not embarrass them in front of all the other passengers. This was completely unacceptable and ruined what should have otherwise been a good experience.
Fun, informational quick trip down river. Spacious boat cabin, not much deck space so get there early if you want a seat in top observation deck.
Great experience!! Perfect accommodations and very nice staff. Would be a great date night, though we just did it for fun!
The Happy Hour cruise INCLUDES children. Buyer Beware! We thought because it was a happy hour cruise there would be no children and we were hoping more for a fun adult cruise with great music and a great happy hour venue.
It was a fun and relaxing way to see the Willamette River and learn a little about the region. We had a lovely sunny day and cocktails, perfect.
Thank you for joining us on the Happy Hour Sightseeing Cruise! We’re so glad you had a relaxing time enjoying the Willamette River on a sunny day with cocktails in hand. We appreciate you cruising with us and hope to welcome you back aboard again soon.
PLAN TO BE HERE 45 MINUTES BEFORE BOAT LEAVES THE DOCK! Traffic was diverted from our hotel crossing the bridge and then a train stopped for 30 minutes between us and the boat. A friendly crew member helped my mobility restricted husband navigate getting onto the boat and down the boat ramp. There was seating inside and outside the boat. We enjoyed a seafood sampler platter onboard, which was perfect for two. Upon arrival a photographer took our picture, which was printed upon departure. Beautiful tour of the river!
We’re so glad you were able to make it aboard despite the travel challenges. It sounds like quite the adventure before your cruise even began! It’s wonderful to hear how our crew assisted your husband up and down the ramp, and that you enjoyed the seafood sampler. Thank you for sharing your experience and for the helpful tip for future guests. We hope to welcome you both back soon!

Booked this experience for my in laws and they loved it!! We listed “birthday” as the reason for the trip, and they were so surprised when they announced happy birthday to both their names while they were on the trip! It made it such a memorable cruise for them and we really appreciated that they did that. They had a great time all around, and said they would recommend this!
