Quan Chuong Gate is located on O Quan Chuong Street, at the beginning of Hang Chieu Street. The main entrance of the gate faces the east and the Red River; Its back is looking to the west and Hang Chieu Street. In terms of its architecture, the gate holds 3 arched doorways, a guarding gazebo on top of the main door. The gate was built with three large arched shapes. Formerly, O Quan Chuong was a large thick wooden gate, at night the soldiers closed the gates and opened it early morning for people to travel and trade.
We will walking throughout the narrow street inside the old quarter of Hanoi to taste 6 to 8 different street foods at small food vendors with some inside , some out
As one of the largest wholesale markets in the North, Dong Xuan Market gathers a full range of commodities from appearance, types to prices. The essential items at an abundance of kiosks and stores are spread across three floors. Each floor offers separate types of items, which is quite convenient for visitors to find and choose your own favorite items. You can find a wide variety of foodstuffs such as seafood, meat, vegetables and possessed food as well as home appliances and electrical equipment on the market's first floor. Conveniently, this floor has a fountain available in the central position for you to rest before continuing to "sweep" the other floors.
Long Bien Bridge (Vietnamese: Cầu Long Biên), is about 2km from Hoan Kiem Lake, with a history of over 100 years, is not only a traffic construction but also a meaningful historical and symbolic witness to the resilience of Hanoi during the two greatest resistance wars against the French colonialists and American imperialism as well as the dramatic changes of this city in the new era.
Phung Hung street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter has been revived with beautiful mural paintings recalling Hanoi in the past. Opened to the public in early February , it is now a favorite photo location and cultural space for city dwellers and visitors.
For nearly a year now, authorities in Hanoi have been trying to shut down “Train Street,” one of the city’s most famous unofficial attractions, where trains buzz by mere feet away from where people regularly sip coffee or beer in a row of open-air cafes. But tourists just won’t stop coming, it seems, despite mounting safety concerns over the crowds gathering around the social-media-famous train tracks. Our tour will be fished here with special Egg Coffee or Beer of Hanoi

Lots of food / come hungry. Fantastic way to get an idea of all the types of foods. Apple was a fantastic guide. Very fun and positive vibes. We really enjoyed this and got to see the train on train street at the last stop. Worth it!!
Elana was very knowledgeable about the food we sampled, very personable and set a nice pace throughout the tour. All the foods and locations were excellent. It was an excellent experience of the old town streets. The front row seats and beers were the grand finale to an excellent tour. I
Apple, thank you for such a wondeful tour tonight. Im sorry I dont have a Tripadvisor account and therefore, unable to leave a review. Here is our family's review. Rating: 5 star!! The tour was a wonderful interactive introduction to Hanoi. We visited 8 local eateries. Apple, our tour guide was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was always followed with great stories and jokes! The experience overall was a highlight! Even our teenage son enjoyed it!! Thanks Apple for a wonderful experience. Thank you again Apple.
Fabulous experience ! 8 different restaurants and a visit to Train street. Our guide, Elana from Kim Tours was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed her company. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to try different foods.
We ended up with a private tour with Apple. She has a great personality and speaks English really well. She took us to 9 different places, all of which were incredible. A couple were street carts, but most were brick and mortar businesses. By about the fourth stop we were pretty full, so we started ordering one serving and sharing. We would highly recommend this tour, and Apple.
We had a fantastic tour of Hanoi and its foods with the best tour guide Apple. I highly recommend doing a food tour on your first evening in Hanoi to get a lay of the land and learn about its culture. The most important thing is to come hungry because there’s a lot of food (and drinks) to try on this tour!
This food tour is a must-do! Even if you’re a foodie like me, you’ll learn something new!! Apparently, I’ve been eating a Vietnamese dish all wrong! Apple was an amazing tour guide. I did this tour solo, but she made me feel like I was hanging out with a friend!! Thank you so much, Apple! I highly recommend this tour/company and guide! 10/10…. Now it’s time to take a food nap! Haha
