On a 3 hours walking tour you’ll explore the culture, history of Hanoi, step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out 10 different dishes at local food stand, family restaurants… A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include – but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches. Sample menu: Pho (beef/chicken noodle), Bun Cha (Grilled Pork With Noodle), Banh Mi (Vietnamese Bread), Banh Cuon (Steamed Rice Pancake), Banh Xeo (Fried Rice Pancake), Nom Bo Kho (Green Papaya Salad With Dried Beef), Thit Xien Nuong (Street Pork Barbeque), Banh Ran Ngot(Sweet Rice Donut), Che (Vietnamese Dessert), Ca Phe Trung (Egg Coffee)…

I've been to Hanoi several time for business, but never got the chance to experience the local life, thanks to our guide, Matthew, we had a great tour and actually ate with the locals! The food was great, and he is fabulous ;) definitely recommend this food tour!

Kelly was our tour guide. She was excellent in explaining everything we ate and tanning is around. She was very informative and had a great sense of humour. Would highly recommend her any day.

We booked the food tour with Jenny. She was an absolute pleasure to tour with. She was knowledgable, friendly, perfect english and had a great time. Excellent places, would recomend her with pleasure to anyone. A must do tour in Hanoi!!!

We booked night food tour in old quarter of Hanoi, our guide was Andy. We got the flavor of real Hanoi, excellent places , amazing dishes. We had our best night out in Hanoi with Andy=> we highly recommend this tour with Andy.

My wife and I did one of the best food tours of Hanoi with our local guide Matthew, who is a genuine foodie. If you do choose this tour definitely ask for Matthew, you won't regret it. We can't speak highly enough about the food we got to sample around the streets of Hanoi. Matthew shared his passion for food over several unrushed hours. We only had 4 people on this tour which was great. Matthew had a great sense of humour and you could see he really loved his job. The choices of food ranged from Pho, to fish, to steamed rice pancakes, beef, dessert and delicious egg coffee. We would definitely do this tour again.

Matthew was the best possible food tour guide! His knowledge of Hanoi’s history, food origins and great places to eat was fantastic. He made us all feel comfortable, met our individual requests and was very funny! We loved his service so much we will book again when we return to Hanoi next week.
