You’ll be greeted by our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with PASSENGER BACKRESTS for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. From there the adventure begins!

The first stage of our Hanoi City Insight Motorbike Tours will take you through the winding labyrinth of back streets and alleys of the innermost parts of Hanoi, to the sprawling city scapes and beautiful architecture that line the main streets. Along the way our knowledgeable guides will tell you stories of the rich history and fun facts of all the must see landmarks of Hanoi. From the famous opera house, to the crashed remnants of a B-52 “Flying Fortress” bomber that reached its final resting place in a small lake. We will Catch a glimpse into the lives of the locals and see the bustling markets full of life and vibrancy. As we exit the city we pass the Long Bien bridge, an iconic symbol of Vietnam’s capitol built during the French colonial time over 100 years ago.

The second stage of our Hanoi Scooter Tours takes you out of the hustle and bustle of the city, you’ll be welcomed into the more quiet and contemplative side of Hanoi. Surrounded by green gardens with farmland stretching in all directions, you’ll enter the canopy of guava and banana trees as our tour leads you down dirt paths into the heart of Hanoi’s agricultural countryside- The Banana island .

Great motorbike tour

We had a great motorbike tour with Summi and her team. While traffic in Hanoi is chaothic and we had never been on a motorbike before we felt safe and enjoyed the tour. Summi was a great guide telling about history, daily life and culture. Her team took pictures and made a video of the tour for us. Highly recommended by us.

Best Way to See Hanoi

This was by far my favorite experience in Hanoi. My boyfriend and I booked a small group tour but ended up being the only ones so our amazing guide Hoa worked with us to customize our stops to hit places and things we hadn’t seen/tried yet which we so appreciated. Riding the bikes was also such a cool way to explore (both figuratively and literally, notably for summer travelers) and felt totally safe and easy! Our drivers Hang and Duyen were the sweetest, always helping us to put our helmets on, storing waters and rain ponchos, and sharing info about the city as we passed through. And I feel like we got to ride through parts of the city we never would have otherwise, like maze-like inner alleys and residential markets. There were times it felt like we were literally in a movie! Bonus was that the included coffee and lunch were to-die-for delicious. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Especially if you have only a short time here, I think it’s one of the best ways you could see and learn a lot about the city, including a bunch of awesome off-the-beaten-path spots.

Best authentic local tour in Hanoi

This might be the best tour I have ever taken. So much fun to ride the motorbikes through wethe city and the drivers keep you feeling completely safe with good helmets and new bikes. Easy for anyone to ride even people who have never ridden a bike before. We went through places no tourist would ever go on foot or by car/bus because you literally can’t— deep mazes of narrow alleyways where the locals live, banana island filled with pristine agriculture, the oldest bridge in Hanoi, and the famous B-52 crash site. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and answered the million questions I had for him. They even allowed us to choose what dish we wanted for lunch and took us to an excellent local bun cha spot filled with Vietnamese customers not tourists. Overall an excellent experience and I feel that I know so much more about the history and culture of Hanoi. Incredible value and length of time for the price. 11/10!!

Wonderful experience!

One of the best things I did in Hanoi. I just wanted to get out of the usual tourist spots, and this motorbike tour ended up being perfect for that. Riding around Long Bien Bridge was really cool, but the best part was honestly just wandering through the farmland along the Red River. It felt like a completely different world compared to the busy city just a few minutes away. We stopped for a mung bean drink with jelly cubes, which I didn’t expect to like as much as I did—but it was actually really refreshing. Happy was a great guide. Super easygoing, good energy, and she handled Hanoi traffic like a pro. I felt totally safe the whole time. She also threw in some restaurant recommendations, and I tried a a place afterward—both were really good. If you want to see a more real, everyday side of Hanoi without overthinking it, I’d definitely recommend this tour.
