Our guide Tom and the driver really looked after us all day, we were collected from our cruise ship on time , in an air conditioned comfortable car. We saw so many different interesting attractions during our day, Tom was very knowledgeable about them all. One stop was for an Egg Coffee, really creamy, a must do! The included lunch was lovely, the restaurant and staff really nice. The mad traffic is an experience like no other, both fab and mad, our driver did a great job. Thank you Tom we had a really great day spending just the right amount of time at each attraction.
Long day but Hanoi very interesting. Car journey longer than anticipated due to traffic so be aware. Guide knowledgeable about history of area
We had a great day in Hanoi. Our tour guide Mike helped to make the most of limited time in this fascinating city. The day was well organized right from the beginning. We were picked up right at our cruise ship. That saved us the 900m walk along the pier which other passengers had to make. Our driver Phuong drove ve us from Halong to Hanoi. The drive took about two hours. Mike was born and raise in Hanoi. He was the perfect person to share his knowledge of the city and his love for Vietnam. A wonderful day! Highly recommended.
This was an extensive tour of Hanoi taken from a cruise ship in Ha Long. The transport was great, the guide was attentive and very good and took us to see all the things we could see in the time frame. He explained things well and spoke good English.
We had some issues on this tour, but the tour operator did everything possible to make it right. The tour operator is respectable & can be trusted to give you the best experience.
Terrific private tour of Hanoi
Terrific private tour with Jun as our great guide. We were picked up at the ship, no long walk. It was helpful that Jun joined us in Halong and gave us lots of local information on the drive. Do plan two hours to Hanoi and plan lots of walking since old Hanoi is a maze of small streets. Our driver was superb, navigating crazy Hanoi traffic. The tour is customized to what you want, but it is impossible to see everything so some advanced planning is useful. Jun recommended a local restaurant for lunch, not the usual hotel buffet.
Wow, what a wonderful day we had exploring the vibrant, bustling city of Hanoi & seeing all the main landmarks with our guide, Jackies - our trip into the city from Halong Port was excellent, very comfortable & great driver. Well worth it & communication from the travel company was top notch, a great day out
What a wonderful day we had with our guide, Jackies exploring the delights of Hanoi - so many highlights in this vibrant colourful city!! The driver & car transport to & from the port at Halong Bay was top quality & very comfortable - well done
This tour was excellent. I still cannot believe what we got for the cost. They pick up AT THE CRUISE SHIP, not after to shuttle to the port building. Our driver sent pictures, which I will include. We selected the high end dining and rickshaw ride. It was a truly memorable experience. We saw all of the highlights of Hanoi and we got back early. Seven of us with a private van— far better than the bus our cruise line offered for twice the price. And finally, Minh, Windy, and Tu made this day one we will cherish forever!
