This workshop is led by true coffee experts: • A certified trainer who has coached head baristas at 5-star hotels and restaurants. • The founder of Sử Quán Roastery, dedicated to preserving the untold stories of Vietnamese coffee. • A passionate coffee enthusiast who loves sharing the beauty and diversity of Vietnam’s brews. Hosted inside an Indochine-style villa tucked away in a quiet hidden alley, this experience blends culture, craft, and connection. What you’ll experience: • Discover lesser-known stories behind Vietnam’s coffee heritage. • Enjoy a fully hands-on session and learn to brew 6 iconic Vietnamese coffees. A gentle part of this workshop also supports children’s education at our Da Lat coffee farm, where families have cared for their land for generations. NOTE: We’ll be enjoying a lot of coffee, so it’s best to have a light meal beforehand!

Amazing coffee and Vietnamese liquor tasting experience in Vietnam. A perfect blend of culture, flavors, and storytelling. The coffee tasting was excellent, with each cup offering something unique, while the liquor tasting was a fun way to explore local spirits and traditions. The hosts were knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend—worth every penny and a great way to experience Vietnamese culture.

We had such a great time at the Hanoi Coffee Experience! Our instructor, PA, was hilarious, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the class fun while teaching us about Vietnamese coffee culture and how to make each drink. Communication before the class was excellent, and afterward they emailed us all of the recipes so we can recreate the coffees at home, which was a wonderful bonus. We were the only two people who booked the afternoon session, so it ended up being a private class. That made the experience even more personal and gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get hands-on practice. If you're visiting Hanoi and love coffee (or just want to try something unique), I highly recommend this experience! Also, eat beforehand - the coffee and drinks are strong ☕️

Piey was amazing and I got to have a private session being the only one in the session. We chatted, she showed me many drinks, and we got to have a great time together. My husband and I came for coffee tasting. Mark was really fun and had good knowledge of coffee. A different experience to what we have done before, really enjoyed it. Would recommend!
Terrific insight to Vietnamese coffee culture and different types of drinks. Very worthwhile, Pa was a very helpful instructor and all the drinks were delicious. It’s a lot of caffeine though so you can skip your morning coffee before you come.

Mark and Colin did a great job teaching and entertaining us with coffee. Was excited to learn how to make coconut coffee and egg coffee and was not disappointed! The rest is a bonus. Highly recommended, particularly if you like coffee or want to learn great recipes like I did. They even sent through the link with recipes from the event, making it even easier for taking home.
