On this tour, you will visit Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam, a city of antiquity, peace, containing the characteristics of Vietnam. The tour guide will pick you up in front of the hotel to explore the beauty of this peaceful city • The first stop on your tour is a visit to the HO CHI MINH MAUSOLEUM. This is the most important and sacred place in Hanoi. It is located in Ba Dinh Square - where Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to Vietnam. This place will help you understand more about the simple life but with a noble revolutionary career of the greatest president of Vietnam. In addition to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, visitors can also visit the Presidential Palace, Uncle Ho's stilt house, fish pond, Ho Chi Minh museum - places associated with Uncle Ho's daily life.
The next destination is the TEMPLE OF LITERATURE - the first university in Vietnam, established in a temple to train royals, mandarins and members of the Vietnamese elite, for an incredible 800 years. This is a beautiful and culturally significant place to explore. Most students come here to pray for their studies. This place is covered by a row of giant trees along with meticulous, lavish architectural works of that time to highlight the wealth of the aristocracy.
Besides, on this trip, you will ENJOY EGG COFFEE ON THE TRAIN TRACK. Unlike other places, the train track here is located right in the middle of a crowded residential area, just a few steps away from people's houses, creating a scene that is both strange and familiar, like an indispensable part of daily life. At times when there are no trains running, the small roads on both sides of the tracks become a living space for people: children play, adults cook, sit and drink tea or knit. From the moment our tour began, everything was flawlessly organized. They arranged private transportation for our family, making the entire day stress-free and comfortable. What truly set this experience apart was the personal attention and local expertise of our guide, who spent the day walking us through Hanoi’s vibrant streets, sharing the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems in a way that felt like we were exploring with a knowledgeable friend rather than a tour guide. The itinerary was perfectly curated. We visited many of Hanoi’s most iconic landmarks while also discovering local spots we never would have found on our own. The food experience was outstanding. We sampled incredible local dishes and even had the opportunity to dine at the famous Bun Cha restaurant where President Obama and Anthony Bourdain shared a meal. It was a memorable experience and one of the highlights of our trip. One of the most impressive parts of the day was Train Street. Our guide secured an incredible viewing location, giving us front-row seats to one of Hanoi’s most unique attractions. It was exciting, safe, and something our entire family will remember for years to come. The coffee stops were equally fantastic. We enjoyed some of the best Vietnamese coffee we’ve ever tasted while learning about Hanoi’s famous coffee culture. Every recommendation was spot-on. What impressed us most was how seamless and personalized the experience felt. The guide constantly adjusted the pace to match our family, answered every question, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. It never felt rushed or overly scripted. We’ve traveled extensively throughout the world, and this was easily one of the best private city tours we’ve ever experienced. The only experience that I have had where I didn’t get what I paid for. The itinerary wasn’t followed with the exception of one location. I tried to work it out with the tour operator but he kept saying that the website was not correct. He was very difficult to deal with and I would never book a tour with this operator again. His customer service was appalling. I did learn that I was not the first person that this has happened to and a lot of people have expected a different experience. I definitely would not recommend them as they have deceitful practices and a lack of customer service. Thankfully I was able to get my money back from Trip Advisor and I am appreciative of their assistance.

This tour was a highlight of our trip. Chris, our tour guide, was amazing. It was great to do a private tour - he catered to what we wanted to see and how long to spend.
For business reasons I took a trip to Hanoi. Having only one day off, I opted for a private tour that would allow me to visit the city in a meaningful way. Sadly, my guide was obviously going through the motions and did not seem sincerely interested in my questions, comfort, or interests (this was a private tour). I was left alone with extremely obnoxious people (tourists and shop owners) at the train stop, the cyclo tour was a joke (very old man cycling who couldn't speak English and coughed/choked), then when I asked for a photo, it was at the end in a very non-picturesque area. I think we ended early and I had expressed interest in at least driving by the prison (walked there in 15 mins the next day, so could have managed that). Go elsewhere...spoiled the city visit.
